Just okay We chose this hotel at the last minute because we were tired of driving and it was a convenient place to stop. It is an older property but the room was clean and comfortable enough. The pool was disappointing. The water was clear but there was a lot of debris in the water and on the deck. The whole area looked like it needed a good power wash. For a quick overnight, this worked, but I will choose differently next time. And they are still not offering a real breakfast , just coffee and a grab and go bag.

Be careful - concerns regarding safety and there are better options in the area This was my first and last time at this hotel. Check in process was fine - when i got to my room there appeared to be an eviction in process with a woman who was clearly under the influence and ultimately she and her luggage had to be taken away by ambulance. Then second night i start hearing loud screaming, yelling and signing coming from the walls and hallway - not sure where - so loud it could be heard over both AC and TV - it sounded like some type of domestic dispute and continued late into the night. Then third night the same noises start up again - including what I experienced the night before and chanting including pauses for some type of reference to hallelujah followed by moans and loud shrieking sounds - again it sounded as if someone may have been on drugs or under the influence and sounded like a domestic dispute that was escalating. I called the front desk - the man said he would check it out - about 20 minutes later the chanting, noise and yelling was more pronounced than before so i called the Boca Raton police. I saw a police car drive by and then left and the noise continued. I called the front desk again and the man got short with me, explaining the police had come and he was monitoring everything from outside cameras (i'm not quite sure how you can monitor what is happening inside room(s) with outside cameras...) Noise continued and i was half way expecting bullets to start flying - i hope no one was injured or worse. I almost got up and left right then but waited until morning and checked out. Visitors to this location - please beware! Perhaps my experience was rare and simply coincidental but somehow i don't think so...

Beneath standards for this chain Room had seen better days but was very clean. Kudos to housekeeping staff. Night clerk when I checked in was very nice but didn't have upper floor as requested. Near highway and noisy. Morning guy couldn't be bothered to walk out of back office when I checked out. Just called out, "Leave the key." Not impressed. Will likely not return.

Savings over Comfort - Breakfast not Available at this time In town for a single evening, I booked a room using a third-party hotel app. Seeking savings over comfort, I was assigned the Quality Inn Boca Raton University Area. Check in was quick and easy – clerk was polite and assigned a first-floor room upon request. Lobby area had several safety precautions in place and a shield between guest and clerk. An inquiry of breakfast - I was quickly advised that the restaurant hadn’t reopened yet. In mentioning that both the website and third-party hotel app advised that breakfast was currently available, the clerk mentioned that he brought that matter to the attention of management. Close to Mizner Park and the Atlantic Ocean, it was an average room with the standard amenities. Refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, room safe, etc. Bed was comfortable – shower water was lukewarm. In town for a mere evening, I didn’t use the pool or other offered amenities. In seeking savings over comfort, my only issue was the lack of “free breakfast” or even a grab bag. When booking, all indications led to the current availability of breakfast. This wasn’t the case. Way overpriced Reasonably clean, fair breakfast, good management excellent location but cheap, superficial renovation for a very old construction that feels and looks more like a homeless shelter. Ripped linen & shower curtain, broken drawers, half sized pillows and peeled off bath door. Some of the other rooms seemed to be in a better conduction but can not be sure. Conclusion: greatly overpriced. Must charge half the price. Better choice across the street with Best Western 30% less or the Marriot at Boca Center $2 less!
