Not a typical Westin The hotel was still nice, clean and conveniently located near the Seaport attractions, however, it just didn't feel like a Westin. A little tired and dated. Staff was EXTREMELY nice, just looking for more benefits as a Titanium member.

Not meeting the Westin standards From the beginning be prepared for under staffing issues or for things that truly are not impressive. Tried to check in in mobile key and would not let me. Went to desk and said it was due to AAA rate. Stood for 10 min next in line and watched three associates addresss one customer while others waited for help.. asked for an upgrade previously as I am a titanium member and was told I got one. Room was 1033 and nothing upgradeable about it. Secondly ice machine and water machines did not work. The sanitizer was out at the elevators and informed front desk told it would be addressed and at hours later not refilled. Looked to have a coffee prior to trip home Starbucks in lobby has sign with hours and we’d third fri it says they open at 630 so I got there at 625 and after waiting five minutes the girl inside said we don’t open till 7 I said the sign says 630 she said it’s a mistake. I don’t know but I think this property has several issues. Hopefully they can address them.

Not Looking Good Not looking good so far. We booked three rooms, three nights. After driving all day, we arrive to check in, only to find no kings available. We have been waiting in the lobby at the front desk for more than 30 minutes now. The manager and the front desk attendant have gone in the back for 30 minutes. It is very frustrating. They’re nice enough, but we are Marriott platinum members. This is unacceptable.

Bring your own water No water at front desk. No water when requested from dialing 0. No room service past 11. Card keys did not work. Room with city view is on the 4th floor. And valet parking is $54. Pass on this fake hotel.

Mediocre hotel, amazing room attendant I was disappointed in the hotel which is reputed to be quite nice. Our key cards didn't work despite several trips back down 16 floors for a reset and we were left in the hallway for 45 minutes waiting for security to come reprogram the door; the coffee maker wasn't made for the coffee packets provided, so it coughed, sputtered, and poured water all over everywhere; the remote was defective, and the room had a strong bad odor. In contrast to the many disappoints of the hotel, the woman who was in charge of our room was amazing. Carline Smith went down 16 floors to customer services many times on our behalf--she tried to get security to reprogram the door several times, she took the coffee pot for exchange, replaced the remote, and vacuumed the carpet with a deodorizer. She came every morning to check on us and address any ongoing problems we had. Customer service sent her back with the original coffee pot, stating that it worked fine, but she took it on herself to diagnose the problem and fix it--the basket was too small for the coffee packets, so she found a larger one. She was pleasant, friendly, compassionate, competent, and tireless in her efforts to ensure we had a good experience.
