Super Helpful Staff Myself and 4 friends were travelling together to Boston with bicycles - that means lots of hefty luggage. We arrived early from our redeye flight and the first person to greet us was doorman/bellman Diego. He promptly helped us with storing our bikes and bags until the room was ready (which was ready at 10AM!) Diego seemingly never went home as he was there through the evening and again in the morning to help us depart as well - great asset to the hotel! Aside from the great central location and easy walkability, the people at this hotel are clearly happy to be there and their positivity extends to the guest experience. Special shout out to the Valet Team who took great care of our truck and were always there to lend a hand with the little things. The manager, Yeiker, and his team (I had to get their names - Jose, Youssef, Joe, Sea, Zachary, and Eli) are world class! Also special recognition is due for front desk agent Amanda, overnight front desk supervisor who's name I failed to get, and the housekeeping staff on the floors who were always gracious and helpful with small requests. Having visited other W Hotels in the past, I think Boston is the best of them! Can't wait to return.

Dirty bath tub , poor management Dirty bathtub with long hair Horrible management. We came for a family vacation with 2 rooms. Our kids room tub was with long hair leftovers and broke sewer cap .. The front desk guy say he can move us to alternative rooms on the same floor and the manager on-site Amanda was “too busy” to even get up from her chair and talk to or see the pictures

Hotel Bar and Resturant I used to love going to the W in Boston preCOVID. I was recently n the theater district looking for a nice decent place to get a glass of wine. The entire restaurant scene has been gutted by COVID, and there is literally no where nice to go anymore. So I sauntered into The W thinking well at least there will be a civilized place to relax. Think again! This hotel is a mere 10 years old, and it looks like a tired old thing. It used to be so nicely designed with beautiful furniture and a waterfall adding to the eclectic European feeling. The people who frequented the place were unusual, eccentric and interesting. Well, the waterfall has gone and the dregs of humanity have discovered The W. It is now Fenway meets suburban women screaming, no food that I could see, and there was no nice music- or I couldn't hear above the din. Stay away, or go to the Tam, you will easily find the same crowd for less money. The bartender upsells (they need to, and you really do feel for the staff with this crowd) so order a malbec because nothing matters at The W.

Great Location and Staff I selected the W for the convenient location even though I had mixed experiences with the W chain in the past. Our room was large, bright and recently renovated. The bathroom was huge with a separate shower and had excellent lighting. Recognition of my platinum status with the Bonvoy program was outstanding. I enjoyed breakfast twice in restaurant and the service and menu choices were suburb. All of the staff I encountered were competent and helpful. This W is not just for millennials ... trust me.

Amazing Experience: Great location, Exceptional Staff, Beautiful Hotel The W Boston was stop 2 out of 4 on our summer road trip, and I couldn’t have imagined a more welcoming, comfortable and accommodating stay in a perfect Downtown Boston location. In fact, our experience was so exceptional, we actually stayed an extra day! It was very rainy when we pulled up to check in and park (we booked a parking package), but that didn’t stop the very helpful valet employees from helping us with our luggage and doing their best to keep everybody dry. There was a glitch with the parking package as our vehicle would not fit in the hotel’s parking garage with the luggage carrier on top. Everyone we talked to went out the way to try to successfully find a parking solution, and Amanda Francis was exceptional as she quickly problem-solved a solution. All parts of the hotel were super clean and every employee was helpful, kind and courteous, but what stands out to me the most is the manner in which everyone truly seemed to want to provide guests with an outstanding stay. I feel very fortunate that Amanda was manning the front desk for most of our stay. Amanda not only solved our parking problem, but she also provided valuable resources during our stay, e.g., great ideas for seeing the City, ideas to also tour Salem, and she even quickly produced a Tide pen for the stain on the teenager’s favorite t-shirt. Boston was an amazing city to visit, and we will definitely return, but mainly because we want to experience the W Boston again!
