Christine Clark Manager "The Great" When we checked in at the Hotel first impressions extremely clean, adorably decorated, well lite and we felt safe. Christine Clark The Manger was on she was very happy to see us & welcomed us like family. Our rooms were extremely clean, fully stocked with needed essentials. Beds were very comfortable with perfect pillows. They have an adorable woman Kay who worked very hard @ the 9pm Ice Cream party making sure that we had enough baked goodies to go along with the ice cream cones. The indoor pool was clean & water perfect temperature. The night desk clerks were also very accommodating to all our needs. Christine went the extra mile to recommend shopping, restaurants, shows, places to go dancing and tours we did all & weren't disappointed. If Christine was the trainer of all Managers & Staff @ the Other Hiltons properties, life would be so great for travelers!!!

Could be better stay!! Not sure who owns this hotel? Full disclosure, web site states they are remodeling. So our problems was once in our remodeled “room” our toilet ran every time you flushed it!! Then the A/C sounded like a freight train!! So loud!! Water was an issue!! Our son and his wife had no hot water!! We had 2 rooms on the 3rd floor. The best part was breakfast. It was ok. No juice as a breaker was out. Basic yogurt, toast, waffle and cereal. The basics. The staff was nice. When we checked out she told my husband that it wasn’t going to be a La Quinta anymore!! So I’m not sure what’s going on!! Parking was a problem and the grounds are very dirty but they are remodeling.

Overdue for a remodel. Way overdue. I've stayed at a lot of LaQuintas. This is one of the worst. It needs a complete remodel. There are no USB ports in the room, the lighting is poor, worn furniture looks like it is from a salvage store, the carpet is nasty-sticky and there is no clock. It was disgusting. I don't know what inspired me to do this but I made the mistake of smelling the curtains. Gag! Totally disgusting. Back in the day, this was may have been a smoking room. The whole room stunk of a bad odor. Breakfast was mediocre at best. I have this location flagged as 'never again'. The good... the front desk folks are pleasant.

Not coming back would rather sleep on my car I stayed here a year ago and it was not this bad. Front desk staff was nice. New owner, management? Carpet looked good, but given the condition of the rest of the room, I wouldn’t walk on it barefoot. Beds sloppy - box spring showing and it’s black cover was tucked under mattress, microwave not clean, both lamp shades crooked with holes, curtains have holes, furniture badly scratched and water damaged, AC held together with tape, shower has glue repair for cracks/holes, patches in walls don’t match paint, chips in paint in bathroom, no fire alarm, fridge does not work, no phone in room, complimentary shampoo/conditioner bottles were used, remote control had white crusty stuff on it (barf). **Beds were comfortable and pillows were good**. I mean, I know we are close to Jackson, but do better! Shame on owners/managers for not overseeing their property and holding their employees accountable. We won’t stay for breakfast. Afraid the “kitchen” will be just as bad. Won’t return to this hotel. Would rather sleep in my car.
