Clean and comfortable The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. While I was at breakfast some one mentioned the apple juice dispenser wasn’t working. A few minutes later I walked by the front desk and the manager was already on the phone calling about getting it fixed. I was very impressed.

Feels Like Home I am a people person and I am impressed with the staff. Sheila helped me set up the reservation. It was like talking to an old friend. When we arrived, two young people checked us in, Eric and Kathy,. They were polite and gave me their undivided attention. Most young people now a days act like you are bothering them. We stayed a few nights and each night when we returned they had the most wonderful smiles waiting for us. Our room was clean and had a nice smell to it. I have been to hotels where I had to clean the counters, air the room or just leave. I greatly appreciate not having to do this. I had the privilege to talk to the manager. What a nice young man - he is family focused and cares about his staff and his hotel. We will be back again :)

Property misrepresented in photos Greatly disappointed in this Choice Hotels property. We have been Choice Hotel members since 2012 and book our rooms through the Choice app. This property boasts an outdoor pool. With it being August and quite warm outside, we chose this hotel for our recent Brownsburg Indiana stay. Disappointed to learn, upon arrival, that the pool is closed…with no reduction in the nightly rate. Upon further investigation, it appears the pool HAS been closed for quite some time, given the weeds growing up all around it, including the path from the exterior door to pool area. The pool deck clearly hasn’t been washed in a few years. There is no logical reason why this property has not changed their in-app listing to show that the pool, even though it’s still ON the property, is NOT open. Further, we have come to expect a certain level of breakfast with the Choice chain. This property was seriously lacking. No hot eggs, no biscuits and gravy, no sausage patties….waffles, some apples and oranges, cold cereal or oatmeal, yogurt and sugar-laden pastries. We will not stay at this property in the future

BEWARE! Filthy, bugs, deception. Completely unacceptable property. The first thing we noticed when we got to the property was an odor coming from a factory across the street. It was a bit windy then so it wasn't bad at that time. The next thing we found out was the swimming pool was closed. It was completely covered up. We picked that property because it had an outdoor pool and we wanted to swim. Ironically, i had called the hotel earlier in the day because we were curious if they had a hot tub in conjunction with the pool. The man who answered told me they "only have a pool, not a hot tub." He didn't even mention on the phone that the pool was currently closed. That was very deceptive. We were checked into 2 rooms. One of them had food all around the nightstand between the 2 beds with ants crawling all around the floor, nightstand and onto the beds. The other rooms bathroom had not been cleaned and the toilet had urine and toilet paper in it. The shower rod was falling off and the paint was bubbling up all around the bathroom. We went to the front desk and were moved to 2 different rooms. The main staircase off the lobby going upstairs was filthy. It was carpeted. There was ground in dirt, and debris. It was clear it had not been vacuumed in a very long time. The lady at the front desk told us she was reducing our rate down to $123 for the 2 rooms which would make it around $70 per room with tax. One of the new rooms AC buzzed loudly every time it came on all night. It kept waking us up. The other new room was fine. The factory across the street was loud and gave off a much stronger smell than what we had previously noted. The connecting rooms were loud. We could hear talking between the rooms and the alarm clocks going off. When we checked out, I asked for a copy of both room receipts. We were charged $123 plus tax per room. We had been told that would be our room total for both rooms. The morning desk clerk had not been aware of the situation but the night clerk had left notes in the desk book. The morning clerk called her manager on the phone. He spoke with me on the phone. His voice sounded exactly like the man I had spoken to the day before when I called to inquire about a hot tub. He refused to honor the rate reduction we were offered by the night clerk. He said "she never would have said that." Yet 4 of us were standing there and specifically heard her say that. This property is filthy, has bugs, is in a state of disrepair. It has no working pool and does not disclose that on their website or when you call them. There are no outdoor tables as shown on the website. It is loud and smelly. There is no pride taken by the manager/owner to keep this property maintained, cleaned. They do not operate in an ethical manner. They use deception. We should have not checked in and instead gone to the hotel next door. However, they would not have refunded our deposit if we had. Do not stay here!

If you're not here to be disappointed, you're going to be Mind you, I'm here for work, and work 84 hours a week, overnight. In the first 5 days I've had my door opened , with the do not disturb tag, twice. Housekeeping apparently also believes that yelling down the hallway is an acceptable form of communication. The most uninterrupted length of sleep has been 3.5 hours. After that, you're up, because they won't shut up. The beds are adequate, pretty much like sleeping in a family members spare room, the water is yellow. Just the water in your toilet, or in a tub, looks like someone had used it as a urinal. The water smells like Sulphur, drink at your own risk. The "workout room" has broken equipment scattered about. Unsure if the TV was removed or stolen. Breakfast is a great assortment of DIY microwave biscuit sandwich, some grocery store reject fruits, or other random worthless items. Ever since covid, hotels have used it as an excuse to quit offering amenities and decent food, in the name of cost saving pushed to you as health concern.
