Just average. Fine for the price This place was ok. We didn’t have any problems. Nothing fancy but it was fine. It’s not the nicest place but it was fine and cost less than other places in the area. Like others said it is not a resort. Just has a small pool so ridiculous they add in a $15 resort fee per day. But it’s still less expensive than other nearby hotels even with that added. Only problems we had was the lack of plugs. My husband has diabetic supplies he has to charge and it was good we had a power strip with us. I had to unplug a lamp across the room from the bed to charge my cell phone. So they really need more outlets in the rooms. The lamps above the beds aren’t in the best place. I hit my head sitting up. The fan in the bathroom was really loud and the ceiling in the bathroom was in need of repair. But it wasn’t that bad and I would stay there again since it’s less than other places to stay nearby and it was fine for the cost. I didn’t try the breakfast or the restaurant so I can’t review on that.

Tired and in need of some major TLC Very outdated and things were broken and dirty Only stayed as it was convenient. The bar was really good but the breakfast next door was absolutely shoddy. Couldn’t even get a hot drink ! A massive overhaul is required to get this up to any standard.

Old and run down I’ll begin this review with…had I known what the rooms actually looked like I never would have booked here. The pictures on the website are misleading. Not every room/cottage has been updated. The room we were initially placed in stunk of mold/mildew, was not level, broken curtains hanging from windows. We never saw anyone eating at the restaurant and I don’t remember it ever being open. The only reason I’m giving two stars is because the front desk attendant was very accommodating and moved us to an updated cottage each night we stayed. Fact check before you book here, I should have.

Cancellation issues Let me say first that if we could give 0 stars, I would do so. We had planned an 18 day road trip to the Pacific Northwest. On Day 1, twelve miles from our first hotel, we were alerted to a tornado warning with the tornado being on the ground. As it got darker and darker, we pulled off the road onto the shoulder as did most of the other cars around us. Eventually traffic came to a complete stop. The rain started and then the hail started-some as big as golf balls. Needless to say we have some significant hail damage. Our biggest concern was the damage to the windshield which was on both the driver's side as well as the passenger side. After much discussion, we decided, because of the damage to the windshield, we needed to return home to get this taken care of. This was a trip that had been in the making for months and we really didn't want to cancel. When we got back home the next day, I started canceling the reservations for our trip. Out of 15 reservations that needed to be cancelled, Bryce Canyon Resort is the ONLY place that refused to not charge us for the cancelled reservation. This reservation was made a month ago and we had a very limited amount of time for cancellation, and we had no idea that anything like this would happen. I am relatively sure that he was able to book the room, and, therefore, made double the money for the room. My advice: Don't reserve at this place unless you are 100% positive that you won't have to cancel for any reason-even acts of God, and you can afford to lose your money. We are going to do this trip hopefully later this year and follow the same itinerary, with the exception of Bryce Canyon Resort.

It’s not a resort Rooms are what you would expect for the price point. My biggest complaint is with the staff, gratuitous fees, and misleading motel name. It's not a resort. They have a pool, which was not functional when we were there. When we checked in I asked the nice lady to remove the $15.00/nite resort fee and she said she would. However, when we checked out, the man at the desk apparently added it back in? Or maybe the lady said she would remove it but didn’t? The final cost somehow even came out to about a dollar more than the booking quote, to add insult to injury. I do not recommend this place.
