Signs of Wear and Tear I would give 2.75 as opposed to 2 out of 5. Primary reason would be because the carpet shows signs of lots of wear and tear. The hotel went though renovations (see other pictures of new bathroom setup) but the carpet was very worn. Staff were very accommodating about the issue and moved us to a new room that appeared updated but upon drawing curtains we could see it had just as much wear and tear. Family didn’t mind it, but I’m pretty particular/picky about hotels so I found it bothersome.

Great location, staff and value! Highly recommended... Overall a great stay at the Coast Anabelle Hotel. Looked into a few options in the Burbank/Glendale area and decided on the Coast Anabelle due to its convenient location to Universal Studios and easy access to highways. Location is great only a few minutes to Universal Studios. It is about 20 minutes way from the Griffith Observatory and Hollywood Blvd, 30 minutes away from downtown LA and 40 mnutes away from the Santa Monica Pier. It is about a 45-minute drive to LAX though. (Closer to an hour given LA traffic) There are also lots of food options in the area including some sit-down places, and a McDonald's and Raising Cane's only a few walkable blocks away. Other food options are a short (5 minute) drive away. I saw some great review of this hotel...guest seemed to emphasize its homely/boutique feel...which I fully agree with. From the moment you enter, all staff were friendly and helpful. They did not hesitate to thoroughly explain everything relating to your hotel stay. The hotel is associated with another Coast establishment, across the street, the Safari Inn. Since the Coast Anabelle does NOT have a pool, laundry or fitness center on site, you are permitted to use those facilities of the Safari Inn. Though I did NOT use the pool or laundry room...I did use the small fitness center there which I was able to access using my keycard without any issues. The room was great...neat and well-maintained. Coffee maker and refrigerator...but no microwave. The bathroom, which had a large walk-in shower was definitely a highlight. Daily cleaning (bedsheets/towel replenishment) was also very much appreciated...you don't see this as much, particularly post-COVID. The Coast Anabelle was also one of the very few hotels which offerred FREE (and adequate) parking...most other charge $15-25 per night to park. The ones closer to the downtown LA area and Hollywood Blvd. charge upward of $40! Very safe area as I walked around the surrounding blocks without any concern. Very happy with our stay here...highly recommended to those looking into a place to stay while visiting the LA area. Kudos to the management and staff! Keep up the great work.

Very comfortable and relatively affordable four star, full service hotel in Burbank For years my wife and I have stayed at the Coast Anabelle's sister property, the Safari Inn, which is next door. We've always been satisfied with the experience. As a Coast Awards member we were offered a discount to stay at one of this small chain's properties. We decided to use the discount to offset the extra cost of staying at the more upscale Anabelle Hotel. The hotel is very comfortable. While the Safari in is most satisfactory, the Anabelle provides an upgrade experience that I would characterize as 4, as opposed to 3 star. The rooms are well appointed, including three, upholstered chairs, comfortable beds and a bathroom that includes a double shower. The restaurant is very good and reasonable priced. The staff is friendly. My wife and I highly recommend this property, as well as the affiliated Safari Inn for those looking for less expense. Both properties provide comfortable stays during the two-to-three times per year that we visit our children and grandchildren in Burbank.

Nice hotel close to Universal/Warner Bros Very nice hotel and close to Warner Bros and Universal. They have a free shuttle, but make sure to book in advance. I didn't, but the very nice woman at the front desk told us how to take the Burbank city bus (at the corner in front of the hotel) to Universal which was very inexpensive. It only took 15 minutes to get there by the bus. Room was clean and comfortable. However, next time I will ask for a room on the top floor as family above us had running/jumping children that woke us up in the mornings.
