Closed Copper King is closed and has been for some time, avoid that situation. They are close to the airport but not even the restaurant or bar are open. I do not see them opening soon, this is the second time they have closed in 2 years.

Amazing service & accomodations We stayed here on our way through from WI to OR and had a great experience. The Evel Knievel Days were in full swing during our stay and we appreciated not being right on top of all the action downtown. Nice & quiet. The hotel is a little outdated but at one point, this hotel was obviously very luxurious. Everything works though and is really decent shape. Being located on the outskirts of town and not being part of a big chain, they may not get the business they once had although they didn't have any rooms left after we checked in. They have nice, large rooms with an extensive coffee bar dividing the room from the bathroom area. My husband and I have back problems and felt the beds were very comfortable. Really large breakfast area separate from the lobby with tons of variety. We were on the 2nd floor so we used the elevator for bringing in our luggage, which was very close to our room. The front desk staff were 1st class friendly too.

great waterslide we booked this hotel, knowing that the reviews were not great. the place was probably a top knoch place in its day, its old,but, it was clean, the beds were way to hard. the water slide was great, we had the whole pool to ourselves.The breakfast was pretty good. I would like to halve seen it in its hay day.

Water slide was fun! We weren't planning on staying here but when our tent broke in the wind this was the hotel we settled on. Our daughters (4 and 6) very much enjoyed the water slide and pool. My husband and I did as well. It was a little outdated if you care about that sort of thing. The continental breakfast was great with lots of choices. We all slept really well. There wasn't a fridge or microwave in our room which would have been nice but not a huge deal. We just filled up our cooler with ice from the hotel and it worked out just fine. We'd stay here again if we found ourselves in the area.

Dirty Outdated Hotel Greeted by desk clerk who had ood in her mouth the whole time she checked me in. Told me my reservation did not exist and found it after about 10 minutes. Room was dirty, had outdated furniture and cheap, hard mattress. CRT TV. Opened curtain and window overlooked banquet facilities with chairs stacked high right outside. Winow glass had chicken wire in it. Someone was working on the tub drain and left all the parts and screws in the tub. Could not wait to get out. Group f employees smoking outside th back door. Desk clerk who checked me in was sitting on curb at street when I left. Need I say more?
