Great location near premium outlets and lovely breakfast Location was great - very near the Camarillo outlets and multiple food options. Kudos to the great team that prepares a lovely breakfast in the main hall every morning. It gave us a homely feeling and was a great start to our days venturing around Camarillo.

Nice Hotel, just not my preference. Stay was for three nights while we were having some fumigation done near our house. Hotel room was clean, has a little wear but most hotels do with the constant changeover of guests unless they are under year old. Upon check-in, front desk staff was friendly and courteous. Room has the usual amenities - shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and bar soap called Zero. But here is where my personal issues with the room - bed was a king size but the pillows were more of a small standard that were very flat, though there was 4 pillows all were of the same quality. The bed was made in a way that the top of bedding reached only up to about 2/3 of the bed. Once you pull it out to a reasonable length it was fine for except the warmth of covering was too warm. Mattress is a coil mattress, and you will know it since you feel it. Since the room has A/C that is wall mounted it will blast when on but then feel stuffy when off. After 2 nights of a uncomfortable bed and air comfort of the room, I decided to cut my losses and move on. Since we do business in the area, we usually stay for a few days during each year. This hotel is probably not going to be my first choice for a stay, personally. We did not use any other amenities here such as the gym, pool or breakfast area, so cannot comment on them. They were available, we had other commitments that prevented us from utilizing such spaces. As others have commented, there McDonald’s, El Pollo Loco and Carl’s Jr. next door. There is a Ralph’s Supermarket Starbuck’s and Taco Bell nearby as well. There about 5 other dining establishments nearby as well. Less than a mile, there are the Camarillo Premium Outlets.

Sub-standard hotel. Worse Hilton Family hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Arrived at hotel 8 hours after I had checked in and the digital key still was not working. Went to the front desk and they only had one person working. She asked if I had a car, and that there would be a $10/day to park my car in their outdoor public parking lot. I’ve been a HGVC owner for nearly 20 years, and a loyal Hilton Honors member, and they are charging to park? Outrageous! Every other Hilton I’ve stayed at they thank me for being a loyal Hilton Honors member, they welcome you by name. You get free bottled water…here all I got is attitude. Never acknowledged my loyalty program. This hotel is the spirit airlines of hotels. Nickel and dime you for everything, all the while giving attitude. I don’t know if this is indicative of the poor customer service at Hampton Inns, or it is the poor management of this particular hotel, but I I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.

Hampton Inn Camarillo It’s a Hampton Inn. Pretty good. No real interaction with staff. Quiet location. The rooms are very good, housekeeping does a great job. Halls, elevator, all great. Parking was a breeze for the 4 days I was there. Heads up. A little surprise I found. Read the list of amenities they give you at check in. My fave was a surprise, $10 a day to park in this isolated location. 1 day, nbd right? 4 days, wait a minute. You have to be kidding me. Heads up and watch out

Loyal customer to this Hampton Inn from now on I had to come to Camarillo unexpectedly due to a family member's illness and stayed at the Hampton (although I did start out at Sonesta). I was there for two weeks. I didn't expect to need to stay so long, but I am glad we did because it felt like home after a couple days:) . The staff bent over backwards for us the entire time. I won't get everyone's names but at the front desk, Shanen, Olivia, Fabian, I believe Ruben is maintenance and Anthony is the GM. We needed a TTY and it hadn't been used much in the hotel. We were able to connect to a call using the TTY, and the staff was determined to make sure we could use this technology. Our rooms were cleaned as often as we wanted, and we had fresh towels. The room smelled good and was clean. Although I agree with another review the bathrooms could use an update, it was still clean and spacious. The room had been updated recently with nice curtains and the bed was as you would expect for a Hampton. I never had a bad night sleeping. It was nice to always have coffee and breakfast and the breakfasts hostesses make sure everything is stocked and fresh. Every night we had tea before bed. If you are staying as long as I did, you can download an app to do laundry, or bring about 12.00 in quarters for two loads to wash and dry. Because of the reason for the trip and running around to different medical offices, the time in Camarillo was stressful, however, the Hampton Inn and it's staff was a very bright spot and a welcome respite at the end of the day. Thank you so much to Anthony and the Hampton Inn Staff. I also want to mention that the end of the day on Friday Nov 3, there was a flurry of activity on our floor and we saw Anthony in the hall, helping the housekeepers with a room.
