Good value but watch noise from and walking along rte 50 Hotel has nice appearance and friendly staff. Some deficits though: 1). no elevator, but it’s only 2 floors; 2) very noisey on rte 50 side, which is half the rooms (the reason why I changed rooms); and 3) there is no sidewalk along rte 50 which is necessary to walk to the shopping area about 1,000 fr from hotel (sidewalk starts at traffic light 500 ft west of hotel). Rte 50 is 3 lanes there and very busy.

Worst hotel stay of my life My friends were getting married a few minutes from the hotel so I decided to get a room for the night instead of driving back to Baltimore. I reserved the room via phone directly from the hotel 4 days prior. The person on the phone was very friendly . Check in time was 3pm. Because the wedding started at 345, we arrived a few minutes early. When I say a few, it was literally 245. I waled in the lobby and it was a ghost town. Nobody around. I stood at the desk for 10 minutes and nothing. Another patron walked in and she said she hadn't seen anyone in 30 minutes. As I was getting ready to call them on the phone, an employee walks down the hall wearing rubber gloves. He says are you here to check in? I said yes sir. I have a reservation. It's now just about 3pm, the advertised check in time. He says oh, there are no rooms ready yet. I said what???? I have to be at a wedding in 45 minutes and we need to get ready. As I am walking away , another employee comes in who I am guessing is the manager. The first guy calls me over and said oh I think your room is ready. So I pay and the guy gives me my room key. I ask for a receipt and he says their printer is broken. So we go to the room to hurry up and get ready. We open the door and the first thing that greets us is a very strong odor of cigarette smoke. I start to look around the room and I say where is the TV? Apparently it was broke or the last guy stole it because all we had in our room was a cable cord and no TV. So the next thing I notice is that all of the trash cans had trash in them from previous guests. I look at the beds and they were sloppily made making me wonder if the sheets were even changed. Now go in the bathroom and there were used toiletries still on the counter. There were no towels at all in the bathroom or anywhere in the room. I opened the fridge and there was Coors Light in there which I didn't mind cuz I needed one to take edge off after seeing this room. I am pretty sure they didn't even clean the room before giving it to us. As we were leaving for the wedding I stopped at front desk and asked where our TV was. He acted shocked that it was missing. You would thinbk when we returned that it would be there, nope. Overall I'd give the place zero stars if I could. I got an ocean front room with a balcony and full kitchen in Ocean City for the same price recently that I pad for my stay last night. Everything was terrible from the staff the day of my arrival to the room. Pay the extra money and stay at one of the other rooms in the area.

Not recommended This particular Days Inn is in desperate need of an update and cleaning. The room itself was fine, but the hallways were stained and dirty with bad odors. We also did not have a tv in our room and it was never replaced once it was reported. No discount given for our inconvenience either.

A good value This is a good value and it’s very clean and safe. The staff are charming and attentive. It’s clear they work as a team and take service seriously. It gets 5 out of 5 for being what one would reasonably expect, no frills but very decent. I would definitely return if back in Cambridge! _

We expected more! Issues with reservation upon arrival. Not completely resolved to our satifaction worn out upholstery on rooms loveseat pool closed
