Seaweed Been here three days and they do not clean the beach! Seaweed all over the beach and it stinks. I have stayed at other resorts whom have machines going all night to comb up the seaweed. No one is swimming it's groaa

Don’t Stay at Krystal Resorts in Cancun If you’re reading this please read it carefully because you don’t want to waste your money on a Krystal All inclusive vacation in Cancun My wife and I arrived on Sunday June 7th 2025. It started out great When you arrived you walk in and see a pretty nice lobby of marble and tile floors but that’s where it stops. Once we got checked in they said to have drink at the bar in the lobby and that they would take our bags to our rooms. My wife and I decided to go get something to eat and we were gone about an hour and half or two and when we returned our bags were still sitting in the same spot. We had to ask 3 times to take the bags up to the room and it wasn’t until I said I was just going to do it myself that it got done. Now I could go step by step of all the things that were wrong but I don’t think you want to read a novel. In the first days we were there we were trapped in the elevator for 30 minutes. The emergency phone in the elevator had a recording saying that there was no money to make the call and the emergency button also didn’t work and when we called the front desk the first time they said they would send someone right over. 20 min later we were still stuck and couldn’t even get the front desk to answer the phone a second time and when we finally got out thanks to another guest the hotel acted like it was no big deal and no one even bothered to follow up with us at any point of the rest of our vacation. The worst thing is we later found out that another set of guest were stuck in the same elevator for ten min earlier that morning. Next was the rooms all though clean from dust looked disgusting with gray towels that were suppose to be white. tables in the room had stains all over the tables and dressers that made it so you didn’t want to eat off of them. Over the 8 day vacation we didn’t have hot water for half the time we were there and almost every morning we were woken up at 8:30-9 tdue to banging and drilling with a side of chemical smell mixed with poop. Other than that the hotel rooms were great LOL!!! As for the all inclusive it includes being told we anly give shower towels once a day in the morning. The food was ok but nothing tasted good enough that you would go back for more. Most days we ate at the hotel buffet we ate just enough to get by but and left our plates mostly full to be tossed. I will say the Mediterranean Restaurant at the hotel that you can make a reservation for for dinner once a day was excellent and is part of the all inclusive The entertainment or lack there off was almost nonexistent. They have a board with about 4/5 events like basketball, volleyball, water polo and a few others listed daily but no one to organize or get it started. Its on the guest themselves. I didn’t not see one event that was listed take place in the days I was there. The only fun activity I saw that actually took place and was organized was when they had Co Co Bongo night club advertising there club and did a 1-2,hour long pool party with music. At night we either left to other places to find something to do because we didn’t want to play bingo or guess that song in the lobby or we were in bed by 9 due to Borden and watching Netflix. If that sounds like a vacation to you then the Krystal is for you. ____. PS. They did have a sales presentation with breakfast for a membership that I was considering until I got to experience the Krystal vacation. I’d rather go to Motel 6
