Comfort Suites Canton - Detroit

Never again/ more pictures to come First off manager Ashley really rude and very ghetto/disrespectful. I heard her yelling at her workers over walkie talkies. I seen her playing favorites with some that may have been her friends what it seems to be. I seen male housekeepers smoking weed in a little grey car ( very unprofessional ). Stain sheets and blankets on beds (both beds) also pillows smell like musk and may been sitting uncleaned with slobbered possibility with the smell that was coming off of it. Dirty sheets inside the couch pull out. A used condom in the door very disgusting when you have children with you also found trash in the trashcan a dirty towel in the closet. when I addressed it the day before talking to the supposed to be manager, Ashely, I talked to a male named Justin the night before and he looked like he was high or drunk and didn’t give a crap to even change rooms and tell me it’s not his problem basically. whoever cleaned the room left here all over tub and bathroom and in the sink with urine on the seat of the toilet. When I address it that they said that the head checks rooms and said that that is impossible that she was good at her job. I don’t know how because they talk rude to other employees bugs and complain don’t seem professional.

One of the worst hotels ever Let's see, front desk girl was outside smoking when we arrived, she could not find out reservation, I had to pay more for the same room, but was told I could contact the company for refund, the manager did not want to come out and talk to me, the furniture in the lobby was just filthy, the couple in the room across from us smoked pot the entire stay, the whole hallway smelled, room was not great, not cleaned like I would expect a hotel to be. The manager was of another race and did not want to talk to us about the reservation. After 30 minutes of standing there, she came out and had an attitude. If you like drugs dens and rude people, this is your place, not mine.

Adequate This hotel is in a great area for shopping….and right across the road from Ikea. It desperately needs updating. It looks like it has been ignored for quite awhile! There’s a pool….it was cloudy and sorta green. We weren’t there on a weekend so there was no one in it. We were at the end of the hall and could gave parked right outside the door, but it was broken so we couldn’t get in that way. There were a couple of lights in the room with burned out bulbs or no bulb at all….one of which was in the bathroom! The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was the typical tasteless egg patties and sausages, cereal or bagels. We stuck with the make your own waffles. Staff was great.

Terrible hotel The rooms were not clean, several lights were out. The elevator was filthy with crumbs on the floor and lord knows what smeared on the walls during our 4 day stay. Key cards deactivated daily. Awful

Not a great stay We often stay at Comfort Inn hotels when we travel. This was the least pleasant experience we've had. The man who was working at the front desk when we arrived was very friendly.. yay. The credit card reader that he needed to use to process my credit card for the deposits wasn't working so he had to hand key all of the info for both of my rooms. Our room was adequate and the bedding and towels appeared clean.. yay! The carpet had a big red stain in front of the fridge.. likely a red beverage got spilled at some point. There was some hair in a corner of the bathroom floor. I assumed it just got left behind by a mop. But, when we used a towel to wipe up some water that we splashed nearby on the floor, the towel got visibly dirty... yuk. The zipper bag of extra linens (on the shelf in the closet) was open/half empty and a blanket was out on the open shelf.. clean?? The other room on our reservation had a tv with a remote that wouldn't change the channel so they gave us another room.. that tv had a missing hdmi cable so it wouldn't work, the 3rd room had a working TV and remote.. yay. Breakfast was not well tended to and several people had to wait a long time for the eggs and sausage. The only beverages available were coffee, milk, chocolate milk, and apple juice. There wasn't even water available. Not a great stay.
