GO ELSEWHERE This hotel is falling apart and clearly the workers dont care about their job. Ill start with the likes, the grounds were pretty the outside fire pit was nice and had seating available however the paths from the building to the pit and lobby seriously needs more lighting. The lobby was nice enough and the bed was comfortable. Now for the dislikes the hallway on the first floor reeked of rotting garbage as a garbage bag full was left out over night and was there past 12 pm the next day ,smashed dog food and crunchy soiled towels were left outside the doors the rooms ,water spots, peeling wallpaper, and popped wall panel strips greet you as you walk with hallways. The elevator to the third and fourth floor not working was not informed of ths luckily noone was severely disabled. The room furniture needed to be replaced and the toilet still had the previous guest feces in it ,the tub floor had visible dirt stains in it ,the curtains horribly stained and off putting . I could stomach one night but i was glad to to I wont be back or recommending this place. Spend the extra and go somewhere else!! You've been warned!!

Smells and Rude! Picture is very deceiving of what Hotel looks like. I'm a Diamond member and stay at Hilton hotels weekly. This one is smells terrible but worst the woman that works front desk is rude. She was working 8/3/24 around 5 pm plus she was here when I checked in on Friday night 7/26. My luggage was lost at the airport so I asked her if they would bring it to my room when it showed up, she said no. Then I asked if she would call me when it showed up and she said no I should probably just keep checking at front desk. Really!!! The other day they came in to clean my room and didn't even make the bed. Today I went down at 5 am and asked to have my room cleaned and the sink in the bathroom unplugged. I came back from work, and it still wasn't done so I went to the front desk and waited and waited and waited along with another gentleman. AND YA same rude woman showed up didn't even say sorry- hi- or go jump off a bridge!! I asked if they were going to clean my room and fix the sink, she said they were still cleaning rooms, and she would add my sink maintenance to the book, 6:58 pm and room is still not clean, and sink is still plugged. I will say most of the men that have helped me have been great this morning a young man making the breakfast (singing) helped me and he was very friendly and helpful and so was another guy that worked the 5-7 appetizer social.

In desparate need of a renovation - stay away! My fiancee and I had a vendor meeting in the area for wedding planning and figured we would stay in the area as well as celebrate our anniversary. Upon arrival, our room wasn't ready and the woman at the counter wasn't very friendly so we left to grab food and return. Once we returned, two different women were at the counter and they were much nicer. At this point, our room was ready. We were able to check in with no issue but I was not thanked for being a Diamond member like the guest ahead of me in line was thanked for being an Honors member. Once we got to our room - 305, it was extremely dirty. There were dirty dishes, food crumbs all over the bedroom floor, the bathroom was dirty (toilet not cleaned or flushed, and a very rusty shower) add on a musty smell throughout the room too. We called the front desk and the GM answered and moved us to room 407 which wasn't much cleaner, but you could tell an effort was made. There was still a musty smell as the hotel is very old, and in desperate need of updating! Baseboards tell everything, and these were warped, water damaged, and beat up. Overall, the stay wasn't very comfortable as the bathroom left little desire to shower and use because of how dated and mildewy it was. The area around the hotel is so convenient but also very private. This could be a great hotel if they invested some money into it and updated it. There were also so many elevators and not all of them were clean either. One had cigar burns on the plastic signs inside of it. If it wasn't for the GM and the other young lady working the desk for trying very hard to make our stay more comfortable, this would have been one of those times I would have cancelled and took a loss on the money.

Filthy. Unsatisfactory! Disappointing at best. First room smelled like cat pee. Trash in the hallways. Dirty sheets and towels, Wet mops left in the hallway. Wont stay here again. Who’s gonna take responsibility? Where’s the manager? How can you charge $100+ for a room?

Hilton needs to read these reviews of this location! Another diamond member here, also almost a lifetime diamond member posting a review for the Cary Homewood Suites. Take it from me, DO NOT STAY at this hotel. They do not care one bit about their guests, even if you are a diamond member. If you would like housekeeping you have to request it at the front desk. Not a problem, I did. I was told that the request must be done the night before. That was one of the least of the problems. The biggest problem was the bugs in the room! Unbelievable! You could offer me this hotel and offer to pay me $1,000 per night to stay there and I would still refuse. If you read this review and still decide to stay there, you can come back here and say you should have listened to me. I'll accept your apology!
