Worse Than Sleeping In Your Car Smelly, dirty floor. TV didn't work even though they said it was being worked on and would come on later. Never did. Built up dirt in corners of the room. Hard bed. Two lamps had no bulbs in them and a third one didn't work. Only one light in the room worked. No clock. No radio. Dirty Windows, Rude Staff.

Not a good stay Hair all over the bathroom floor. Nothing for breakfast, even the coffee machine was broke. Took a walk in a very questionable neighborhood. Motel 6 across the street looked like a much better choice. Pool is open from 9am to 9pm when everyone is either checking in, checking out or not here.

BED BUG BITES It was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! Not kept up, old, dirty, etc, etc! I woke up in the morning after one nite stay covered in red BUG BITES & welts!!! Went to an Emergency Room Dr & they confirmed they were BED BUG bites! HORRORS OF HORRORS! I really feel like the motel should pay for my $40. Dr appointment! And for the ointment that I purchased to use for the TERRIBLE itching!!! have receipts!

Do not travel here with children or pets. UNSAFE & UNACCEPTABLE Location This was the worse hotel experience of my life! I booked this accidently while traveling to NC. With the non-refundable & refund not guaranteed we ended up going anyways. This is listed with RV parking, nope! Only space for cars, not an RV. Also I was traveling with my 2 small children & dog. Upon arrival there were 2 GIANT PIT BULLS strays running around the property! Then when we walked into main entrance ON ONE WAS there to check us in. We were denied the refund so I requested again as they listed me as a no show & then denied a second time due to "cancelation policy" Completely unacceptable by the management to look into this further. Caution all traveling with PETS & CHILDREN!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND & 100% DISSATISFIED WITH HOW THEY HANDLE PEOPLE!!!!!!!

Forgot they are in the hospitality business Oh my, where to start... We arrived in the afternoon to a chaotic scene in the lobby. The internet was down and there was no way to check in guests. We waited approximately an hour for staff to figure out a workaround so that we could be checked in and room keys created. Meanwhile, waiting guests needed the restroom. This too was unavailable because it was out of order. We were told to walk to the gas station across the street. This included a guest who was waiting with us who was disabled; I watched his wife help him into their car to find a restroom he could use. I find it curious that in a hotel full of bathrooms, there was no accommodation made for the comfort of guests who were already being inconvenienced. Why did they not open a nearby room for this purpose? The " hot " breakfast was skimpy pickens at best. No eggs or sausage. The only hot item was a make your own waffle option. The coffee machine was also not in working order. The internet never did work while we were there, so there was no wifi during our stay. Staff was not happy to be there. We were able after some coaxing to get a smile out of the gentleman working the front desk. The other staff, nope. No smiles or cheerfulness was seen. I got this distinct impression that those working at this hotel think they're in the room renting business instead of the hospitality business. We are Diamond level guests of the Choice hotel chain, and stay at many of their properties. This one does not fit with the experiences we typically have at Choice hotels. Both the property and the staff are in need of remediation.
