MAINSTAY Highly recommend. Great customer service and all around great place to stay the rooms are very clean! The rooms have kitchenettes so you don't have to eat out all the time! Pool was great and the front desk lady with the blonde hair that works the desk is a very nice person and loves her job!!!

Honest Review from a long term guest I stayed here throughout the month of January, and again throughout the month of March. All the the staff are very friendly and accommodating, without complaint or attitude. The rooms I've had were clean and housekeeping has always taken the initiative to ask if I needed anything. The halls and entry are always mopped and vacuumed. The rest of guests are quiet and respectful. Summary is this: I've stayed here a total now of 66 nights and can't complain about anything. I would recommend to everyone.

Great stay Really friendly staff that were happy to help all the time. clean accomodation and a great breakfast. Enough facilities to make an enjoyable time, swimming pool is clean and fitness facilities are great

Terrible stay at Mainstay, Cedar Rapids, IA First off the website describes, hot breakfast, manger reception. No. None. Talked with man next morning, Oh that changed in January 2022, too costly, had to throw away food. NEED TO UPDATE SITE. Told him. Would be happy with cereal or waffle maker and premade dough cups not perishable. No comment. Banana, apple, weak coffee, juice machine. Got in late, next morning, cold in room; checked window, partially open (lower floor room, NEVER again); window cracked open, screen pulled out at bottom. I had to push out screen to get closed. Secured right. Got back that afternoon after Grandkids basketball games, window next to it had been sliced open. Put light in window that night with drapes closed. Told person at desk next morning, oh gosh, I'll check it out. F Y. Explained we were totally disappointed.

Never again This is by far the worst place I have been and we were only there an hour while I called other hotels to find a new place to stay. Stains on couch cushions, bed skirt, mattress pads/sheets Dried food on refrigerator door front No soap, shampoo No blankets/sheets for beds Bathroom cabinet door fell off The lady at the front desk was the only person working and informed me that she had quit that day, but decided to come back. We left immediately after we saw the conditions of the room.
