Consistent and reliable, with Great Hospitality of yesteryear1 We have stayed at this location on several occasions, initially because of the customer reviews and ratings as #2 on Trip advisor's site. This ownership believes in providing consistently excellent hospitality services, even since Covid. It starts at the top, and you will occasionally find the G.M. Anthony vacuuming the lobby when other employees don't show up for work. The front desk manager Steve is equally conscientious and friendly, proving that this management team obviously reflects the quality and hospitable spirit of yesteryear. Since Covid we have noticed that most hospitality properties have suffered greatly in loosing employees and ignoring many of their normal services of the past, but that is not the case here. Hospitality is more than just a clean hotel room, and this team provides a level of hospitality seldom found anymore in properties in this price range. The management of this property is to be commended for their positive attitude and commitment to excellence, and we will surely continue to make this our regular family hotel whenever we are in Phoenix.

Dont stay here unless you want your car wheels stolen Property is newer and it was quiet. They asked what cleaning schedule we wanted but didn't clean when they were supposed to. We had to ask them. Worse though is that all four tires from our rental were stolen overnight while parked at the hotel. We learned this is happening every few weeks - trucks and large SUVs are targeted. The parking lot lights are cut, there are no cameras and no patrol. The manager offered to cover an Uber to the airport but that was it. Supposedly it is happening at all the area hotels but nothing seems to be done to prevent it.

Stay here if you want to risk your wheels and tires being stolen DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR VEHICLE SAFE!!!! Stayed here during New Years Eve weekend 2023-2024 and have to warn everyone to never stay at either of these Hiltons in this location. We woke up NYE morning to be called by the front desk stating our vehicle had been vandalized. All 4 wheels and tires had been stolen from our vehicle, plus major damage to passenger window/door.. Police came out, report filed. When the manager (of both Hilton hotels at this location) came out to talk with us and the police officer he never mentioned that the same thing happened to a truck in the same spot, the week before ours. He said something to the effect of “this never happens in this area.” It wasn’t until speaking with a long term hotel resident later that day that we were told her car had been broken into a few weeks prior, and that other truck had its wheels/tires stolen the week before ours. Upon check out from the hotel (3 days later due to not being able to have my vehicle towed sooner) when I asked the front desk employee if he’d been told about our vehicle, he said he had just been notified. When I asked if he was ever notified of the other truck, he said he was told about that one the same time he was told of mine. Why wouldn’t a hotel notify its employees that serious vandalism/theft had occurred on site and to keep an eye out for suspicious activity? We believe a hotel employee was at least assisting in this little side business. We found numerous large cinderblocks placed throughout the parking lot, which made for a great way to jack our vehicle up to remove its tires. We threw all of them in the dumpster upon our departure. This hotel does not have external security cameras and likely won’t even with the recent pattern of crime. DO NOT STAY HERE. We are grateful to Chandler PD and the wonderful couple staying at the hotel who donated their hotel points to allow us to stay another night while dealing with getting our vehicle towed.

Belinda is the precious heart of the hotel The positive impression starts by entering the hotel. You are warmely wellcomed by Belinda at the reception. She is the best _. She takes care of you and makes everything to have a perfect stay. Rooms are ok. If you are 3 people and one needs to sleep on the sofa. The sofa is really not comfortable.

No more complimentary evening socials on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday. Stay started out well here as they actually asked if we wanted a house keeper to come in each day! Since I consider a bed that is made up by friendly housekeeping fairies you leave a tip out for to be one of the highlights of vacation, I was very happy to say “YES”. Housekeeping did not happen, when I came down to ask why (they had previously double-checked we were on the housekeeping list) Belinda snidely told me that housekeeping doesn’t enter when a dog is in the room… I just looked at her and said, “Since when has it been ok to leave a dog in the room, at any hotel?! And our dog, WAS WITH US, ALL DAY” …. She then literally made a comment that made no sense and asked if we wanted towels brought up (we always put used towels together when we are expecting housekeeping) at that point I was just done so I said we’d figure it out because I certainly did not want to put them out any at this point. Also, only one night now (Wednesdays) do Homewood Suites offer the evening gathering… this was very disappointing to find out and why pay the extra money for a Homewood Suites if they are cutting the offerings associated with them. Lastly, we had a comment made to us that normally people come in and stay a whole week there, not just two nights….. so, if you don’t want reservations for two nights, set your web page up differently. Pet area wasn’t too far away, there was grass and there were always bags available as well as a garbage can close by. Lovely pool area with available bbqs. This was the first hotel that told us we couldn’t receive a receipt as we were leaving because Hilton had started a new ‘system’ and then it was because we had ‘pre-paid’…. There is always a receipt available and I let them know that every other hotel we had stayed at on this trip had been able to provide a receipt. We did finally get one, a Guest Folio and it did break down the charges, tax, and showed that we had done an advance purchase.
