Hampton Inn Washington-Dulles Int'l Airport South

Not good, very disappointed! I’ve always been a Hampton Inn Customer and Hilton Honors member. I have to say this was NOT a pleasant experience. The desk staff seemed very confused about procedures, the breakfast crew 4 days in a row) did not have enough food prepared (and there was not a crowd and it was at 9 am, so they were not at the end of the serving period), I was hung up on when I called to ask about re-upping my reservation for one additional night and then when I called back 3 different times to try to get an answer, the didn’t answer the phone. Oh, and the beds were awful…hard and not the usual standard Hampton Inn comfortable beds I’m used to. Very disappointed.

A Fine Hotel Near DC and Dulles Airport. It's a Hampton Inn. The room was clean, cool, and comfortable. The pillows had the usual firmness of marshmallows. On the other hand, the mattresses were firm, allowing for a pleasant sleep. There aren't many businesses to shop or eat nearby. However, go a few miles down 50 East or West to find what you need. Although there's no Wawa, there's a Sheetz about two miles east. In addition to being near Dulles International, it's a straight drive on 50 East to Washington DC.

Great customer Service Our stay here was great. Clean comfortable room, easy airport pick-up, and friendly employees at every interaction. My wife loved the coffee! Special shout out to Nassiba Bendessar, who kindly mailed us our forgotten kindle! Thanks! We will return.

Awesome I had an excellent stay at Hampton inn south. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Special thanks to Sandy front desk agent, who was very helpful and ensured I got on the shuttle to the airport . Highly recommended and look forward to staying here again!

Still a nicer Hampton Inn in the DC area. This hotel is still one of the nicer Hampton Inns in the DC area. The decor is the older style, which I prefer. I booked a suite, which was quite large. The sink was outside the toilet/show area, making it easy for two people to get ready at the same time. The room was spotless, bedding was quite comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. The king suite has plenty of room to spread out -- large bed, sleeper sofa, desk, and chair. It also had a microwave and mini-fridge so I could bring in food and reheat it. The pool area and hot tub is small but also spotless. The pool isn't large enough to swim laps, but still enough space to relax. The fitness room looked nice but I didn't take advantage of that amenity. Breakfast was better than many Hampton Inns. This morning there were eggs, potatoes, sausage, as well as the usual waffle maker, hot and cold cereals, breads, and fruit/yogurt. Hotel staff was constantly replenishing it. The eggs tasted great, not like the obviously powdered ones I recently had at another hotel. The front desk agent was great; I wish I'd remembered his name so I could call him out. I arrived shortly after checkin time and my room wasn't ready. The front desk agent offered to give me a different room type if I didn't want to wait, but I was set on having a suite so I waited. After a short time he contacted housekeeping again (I think to speed them up) and my room was then ready. The front desk provides a list of restaurants, noting which are within walking distance and which are a short drive away. There's plenty of variety in dining options. There's a shuttle to Dulles Airport but I didn't use it as I drove. Not sure if the shuttle also takes you to the Metro.
