Great historical hotel Hotel was great..location, staff, cleanliness, great lobby, fabulous food ….only issue..extremely small bathrooms! If you have a large physique, sitting in the toilet may be a problem!

Nice visit to Charleston Classic hotel with family feel. Great location. Easy to walk to shopping, dining and sites.Saturday Farmers market in the park across the street was a nice surprise.

Mother daughter trip! My daughter and I had a wonderful stay! The manager upgraded our room and everything was perfect! We were happily surprised! Would stay again and I highly recommend.

Historic beauty in downtown Charleston We very much enjoyed our stay at the Francis Marion Hotel. We chose it for the historic ambiance and location and were not disappointed. The decor was lovely, rooms spacious, beds incredibly comfortable and the staff were top notch! I would highly recommend the hotel for its value for the price. The only difficulty was that being right on the square also meant there was noise from the weekend partiers, but we solved that with calming music using the Bluetooth speaker provided in the room. We highly recommend availing yourself to the spa services! The Swamp Fox Restaurant was not as nice as was expected. We missed not having a pool or hot tub but we knew that going in.
