Comfort Inn & Suites Hamilton Place

Not coming back here! The hotel was very nice two years ago when we stayed but this time it has declined drastically. Black spots on hallways carpet. Strong smell of cigarette smoke in 4th floor hallway. Our room was next to the boiler room which continued to make noise every few moments, and while in the shower the hot water and the water pressure went away each time the boiler made noise. When checking out (a day early due to these issues), she told us she wasn’t even showing anyone in the room we were in. Getting a receipt took forever. And finally the breakfast was not what other locations offers. Only one type of fruit, nothing in the frig to eat, no cereal, you either got precooked eggs and such or waffles, not else. And not to mention that three floors had ice machines with out of order signs on them. We will not be returning to this location. And the past 2-3 visits to Choice Hotels have been very disappointing. We are now searching for another hotel family to join that keeps up their properties in better manners with staff that seems to care.

Amazing inn Very comfortable bed, nice staff, good price,free water bottles, when we requested to be near the entrance because we were only staying there for day then leaving they took that in question and actually put us there! Lovely hotel and if I need to stay in Chattanooga again I will surely be staying here! (Also there is a couch extension for only $8!) Also amazing breakfast with the best sausage I've had in a while! And a cool free choice coffee machine!

Nice place to stay.Conveniently located to restaurants and attractions. Hotel stay was pleasant and room was nice as well. I thought the bed was comfortable. We had a king suite room.Bathroom was very roomy, shower had great water pressure.Front desk staff were friendly. It was quiet during our stay, ice machines were out of order. Breakfast was decent.

Nasty First let me say this was a reward night stay so maybe that’s why our room was bad. We chose a king suite. The good thing was the desk clerk was nice when we checked in. We have stayed here many times & have always liked the convenience of restaurants so close. It has continually gone down through the years but I think this is the last stay. This property needs a complete remodel. We did not eat the breakfast cause I just wanted to get out of there. Our room has had really rough treatment. There was missing tile around the tub area, mold or missing caulking in the shower area. The bathroom was so dimly lit you could barely see. The toilet paper holder is in a place you had to be a contortionist to reach it. The vanity area is so small if you need it to put makeup, hair brushes, etc. I got up during the night & got something stuck in my foot. The toilet was rocky on the foot & the seat was in bad shape. There was a mop bucket in the lobby that had been there since the day before. Flooring in the lobby was dirty, elevator dirty just the whole place. Couldn’t be more disappointed in Comfort Inn & Suites at Hamilton Place.

Don't Even Think of Staying Here This was a very, very poor experience. My husband and i stopped on our road trip back north. The room was dark and dirty. It had a musty smell. I would never recommend staying there. The bath liner had mold growing around it. We chose not to even take showers there. Walls had marks and scratches. The bathroom door was chipped and deteroriating at the bottom. I asked the desk person if there was a cleaner room. She grudgingly showed another which was in same condition. When was told this her response was " I didn't clean it. What do you want me to do?" She became very indignant with us and stomped away saying sarcastically "have a nice day". I would never stay there and it is souring me on all Comfort Inns. There were half painted walls and broken ice machine next to reception desk?
