Homewood Suites by Hilton Chesapeake-Greenbrier

Worst Hilton Horrible living accommodations, staff will not clean the rooms, multiple times asking for service to be brushed off. Fire alarms going off in the middle of the night when people are asleep. Rude front desk, overall the worst Hilton I’ve been to.

Friendly staff 3 dogs, 2 kids and I stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks due to repairs being done in my home. Breakfast served every morning is abundant. The breakfast was amazing especially Annette Green. I was allowed an early check in due to my circumstances. Nesha Howard was always so accommodating. The only thing I would say is the rooms could use some updating and the sofa bed is not that comfortable. The beds however are very comfortable.

It Sucked! I rented two rooms for family for my daughter’s wedding. I recommended the hotel to other friends for the wedding as well because I’ve always had good luck with Homewood Suites. This is nothing like them at all. The rooms were dirty and when my mother checked in the next day after we arrived the room was not only dirty but the bathroom was atrocious. She found dirty rags, used panties and nothing had been touched in that room. I went down and complained immediately and asked for a room change and they couldn’t do it because they were at capacity and didn’t have any rooms available….ok I get it. I asked for somebody to go clean the room. The “engineer” went in removed the items to include the shower curtain and replaced it that was it. I asked them to do a deep clean the next morning when their staff arrived. They didn’t even touch the room…the whole stay through Monday! This was the dirtiest Hilton I’ve stayed at and I have stayed at a lot of them for business and pleasure. So much so that I’m a Diamond Member with over 800k points. Now I know this is not all Hiltons but where is the courtesy of doing the business in which you operate…hospitality! It didn’t feel very hospitable and won’t stay at that hotel again. If you’re looking for a hotel to stay think about using something other than this. I still have not received any response back when I made my complaints and doubt they even care about their customers to respond when it’s necessary. not a true homewood suites building and the room are clean-housekeeping is the best feature. the room is worn needs updating and a new mattress. the sofa is worn beyond donating to the poor.the daytime [7:am-4pm] front desk staff is best gossiping with each other -they are beligerent rude and oddly condescending-just wait for the evening staff;I recommend foregoing breakfast 1. the food prepartion is done without gloves;2. food is served at the wrong temperatures; the orange juice is rancid and warm the milk is warmer than Virginia health code standard/law. 3. the bread is stale-the raisin bread is hardened-its been at this unhealthy state the past week. thankfully, nearby are several good breakfast cafés . hotels in this area are routinely sold out you can't just change to a competitor. lastly, in the business center, which is clean-neither keyboard works;instead you will see a keyboard icon in the far right corner as you must use the slow on screen keyboard which is substandard to other hotels in this brand. the room sofa is so gross housekeeping neatly covers it in sheets for me.

Recommend any other option than this location Disappointed by the front desk personnel and their lack of professionalism. The room maintenance was lacking as well. One of the mirrored closet doors was hanging off the bracket, the sink stopper would not let the water drain and had to be removed, and there was feces under the toilet rim of the bowl. The pillows on the bed were very small and needed to be replaced. The bed skirt was on top of the top sheet, not sure why. Was it in place of a blanket? We were confused as why a bed skirt would be placed on top of the top sheet. Would not recommend this hotel.
