Great staff! I’ve been staying at this hotel during the week for almost a year due to work, and the front desk staff are all great. I’ve stayed at a lot of holiday inns for work and this is my favorite. I wish I could remember every single front desk staffers name, because they remember mine. And I’ve never had a sub-par room when it comes to cleanliness.

A solid stay! I stayed here once before a few years back, and it was good. That hasn't changed. The staff was nice and helpful. The internet was solid. The TV channel choices were good. The property seemed well taken care of. There are a number of restaurants nearby, as well as shopping if needed. The breakfast was a little iffy a couple of days with no real meat on it (and sausage gravy does not count as meat.) If I have to work in this area for work, I would stay here again.

Black mold - Manager wasn’t concerned A large amount of black mold in the A/C unit of room 227. Black mold is deadly - the hotel manager didn’t seem to be aware of that. After notifying the manager, all she said was she’d have housekeeping take a look at it. Was not shocked or surprised whatsoever. The shower faucet leaked loudly all through the night no matter what I did to try to fix it. Bathroom door closed with fan on pretty much drowned out the sound. Blow dryer did not work. Main problem was the black mold - I find that to be totally unacceptable and the way it was handled was less than professional.

No loyalty and high priced I have been going to this hotel for about 8-9 years. They gave me a discounted rate. I am also an IHG rate. Before Covid and during Covid the rate went from 96-108. No problem but now Ben I went to schedule this time the rate was 170. I was told that it had gone back to pre-Covid rate. They still do not service the room daily. I have been staying there when the hotel was old, during the remodel, even when they built a nice new Marriott across the street and also a Hampton down the street of which I am a Diamond member. I decided this time to stay at the Fairfield across the street. It is amazing and only 127 per night. My stays are 4-6 nights at a time. Marriott has a better breakfast, every single employee including the housekeeping actually cares about their job and customer service. I will never stay here again because of the loyalty and quite honestly the staff was very flippant when I called to schedule their $50 more a night for a 6 night stay. Both Hampton and Fairfield are much less expensive for a much more enjoyable stay.

Not a typical Holiday Inn Express We have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express locations and this one did not seem to be on the same level. Hallway and elevator smelled heavily of marijuana. When I called the front desk to request a new comforter without a football sized stain, the lady at the front desk acted very bothered by this. She came to our room with the bedding and wreaked of marijuana. Who do you complain to if it's the actual staff doing it? The remodeled room was poorly done with stains in the shower and holes in the carpet. On the positive side, breakfast was decent and always a nice clean area in that space.
