$300 VAPE/smking scam I see Hilton has scammed more people like me. I got a BS vape charge of $300 when we were not smoking or vaping. AND a good BM puts more damage to a room than any vape. The desk girl saw us vaping outside and gave us a disapproving look. NICE SCAM!! Be on the look out, all they want to do is increase the bonus for the manager.

Way outdated! Wow, this place really needs a refresh! The pictures online are not accurate to the look and feel of the hotel. We were first put in a room that was not cleaned (sheets were dirty and the floor was covered in hair). The staff did switch us to a clean room, but it was so outdated and there were cracks in the walls and sink. The roof top pool is small, crowded and not clean. They do warn you that there is an elevator rush hour(s), but there were days we waited up to 10-15 minutes for an elevator! We took the stairs and saw a plethora of cockroaches!!! Eek! The staff was kind and we made a good trip of it, but I would not recommend or return unless some serious revamping happened. To say it’s three stars online is generous.

It was vacation, visiting family and sightseeing. Chicago is one of the best cities that I’ve ever visited. The hotel we stayed at was excellent. Overall, transportation was not a problem as you’re right around the corner and a block away from the loop elevated subway. You’re roughly a mile from the union station with connections to Amtrak, commuter rail and bus routes. You’re about a mile from Ogilvie transit center with commuter connections to the north and northwest suburbs in a short half mile walk to the blue line subway to O’Hare international airport it was a nice hotel overall and I recommend it to people who would love to use transportation you don’t have to use a car. There’s also a shared bike rack. I believe it’s called Divvy that’s practically right around the corner. The Red and Blue subway lines are on State Street and Dearborn Street respectively the other lines, such as the brown, purple line, express, green, pink and orange or right around the corner at the lake and State Street elevated stop. There’s also the Chicago river that has the Chicago river taxi, talks about the history of Chicago. I recommend this hotel

Great stay Had a lovely stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, it met all my needs while traveling. Caprice in particular, who worked at the front desk, was incredibly helpful! The location was central and I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in town.

Checking in was great Chris and Juan at the front desk were great. Very helpful and friendly. Makes checking in a joy. Often times checking in is a headache at other hotels, but this time it was not. In fact, I have stayed here in the past and checking was great then, too.
