Over priced non-secure parking room stink. PARKING! Just checked in... parked on their surface lot. Surprised to have to pay $31 for over night on a surface lot. I would understand if this was a ramp, but a lot? Come on, man! Room smells of something to "cover up" something else. As far as value for the room price, I'd give it 2 stars.

Unhospitable Front Desk First impressions are so important and the first impression that Tania at the front desk made on us was so disappointing. Rather than being hospitable and welcoming, she was shockingly rude and hostile. My husband and I have stayed at several other SpringHill Suites in the South and always were impressed by them, so when we had to spend an extra night in Chicago due to a change in our travel plans, we thought this would be a great option--but we were wrong. Tania was impatient, disagreeable and argumentative. We were surprised that there was a $30.99 parking fee on top of the room charge, which we hadn't seen noted on Expedia, and she didn't explain this very well or patiently at all. It must be a sore point for the hotel staff because she was very hostile about the parking charge, saying, "I'm not charging you." And since she doesn't own the hotel, we never thought she was! Tania actually told us that she didn't care if we stayed there or not. And she said that I hadn't put my debit card in the machine but I had so she made me do it again so now I have 2 pending charges for the same amount for the room! She even disputed the fact that my husband and I had been long-time Marriott customers since our current points total was low because we had not traveled at all during the COVID-19 years and had only recently reactivated our Marriott account...Terrible way to treat long-time customers!

Decent enough airport hotel - even with hiccups would stay again Stayed here for a few days with my dad prior to a conference. Overall decent hotel with a few bumps. The shuttle was very rough and old and had no AC on an incredibly hot day. Our rooms were not ready upon arrival which was after the check in time. Other than that - the rooms were large, clean and comfy. The shower had nice pressure and temperature. The breakfast was pretty good as well. Walkable to a blue line station and as a shuttle to and from the hotel.

Perfect hotel to sleep the night before an early flight out of Chicago Great friendly helpful staff. There are many nearby places to eat. There is a big Supermarket 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel and an Outback Steakhouse on site. They have great shuttle service to and from airport every half hour. There is a Blue line connection to the city 15 min. walk away.
