Amazing Stay at The Godfrey This hotel was such a great find! The location felt really safe and made it easy to walk to restaurants and shops. I came here for a work trip and my colleagues and I always stay at THE Godfrey! The room was clean and cozy, and the restaurant downstairs had some of the best food we had on our trip. My favorites are the salmon dish and their pita bread! What made the experience even better was how kind and attentive the staff were Valeria and Hugo especially made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. They really went out of their way to make our stay extra special. I’d definitely come back next work or leisure trip, and recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Amazing Chicago May Stay 2025 This hotel exceeded all my expectations. The location was perfect—safe, walkable, and close to so many great restaurants, including the one right downstairs. As a bonus, Philz Coffee was just a short two-block walk away, which was a great way to start my mornings. Portillo’s was also a block over!! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The view was amazing. The bed and pillows were comfy. The bathroom was very clean. The entire staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. What really stood out was how helpful and accommodating Valeria and Hugo were throughout my stay—they truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Great stay in Chicago at thd Godfrey. I stayed 4 nights at the Godfrey on a business trip and I absolutely loved it. My room was spacious, kept clean and offered a great view of downtown. The staff was pleasant and accomodating enabling early check-ins (thank you to Valeria + Hugo). The hotel is near a lot of restaurants with diverse cuisines. I recommend the Godfrey and will be back my next time in Chicago!

Fantastic Customer Service My husband and I arrived in Chicago to meet up with friends on an early AM flight. Luckily Valeria and Hugo were working at the front desk. Valeria offered to check room availability which allowed us to check in early. I appreciated the prombt and friendly service!

Amazing trip to Chicago because of The Godfrey The amazing service at The Godfrey made what would have been a stressful business trip, turn into an incredibly relaxing vacation. I truly enjoyed the hospitality of the staff, in particular, Chris made sure that all my needs were accommodated for and was always pleasant to deal with.
