Do NOT stay here! Do NOT stay here. I do not normally write reviews, but this hotel in Chiefland, should be called Creepland. Our room was dirty and smelled. I Killed several small cockroaches. The bed was uncomfortable and it was on some type of metal base that crunched and squeaked if you barely moved. I was not convinced the sheets were clean. Our room was in the back of the hotel by the stairs. The parking lot in the back and the stairway, which was next to our room, seemed to be the gathering place to party. We were not sure if these people were even staying at the hotel? We could hear beer bottles being thrown in the trash can, that was in the stairwell, (we know this because the can was full of broken beer bottles the next morning). We kept checking on our car throughout the night. At one point, we almost decided to pack up and leave. The party seemed to quiet down around 11:00 and we were exhausted from driving, so we stuck it out. The next morning, 5:30 AM, we were packed and heading out. We needed ice, so we stopped by the ice machine where a man was vomiting. I gather he was at the party the night before. The management and/or Wyndham needs to clean this place up! We will NEVER stay here again. The sad thing is we travel a lot and we stayed here, in a different room, the previous winter. It wasn't great, but it wasn't this bad.

No star rating - Worst hotel in Florida Would not give 1 star but you have to put something. Worst hotel in Florida. Hair on bathroom floor and dirty plumger, bathtub peeling and water spout sideway, mold on shower curtain, bath door frome rusty, hole in wall, mold on lamp shade. We arrived late in the day and didn't want to have to drive to look for another hotel, and I asked for another room because this was dirty, but was told none.

Worst hotel in Florida. This was the absolute worst hotel. Smokers out side the building looking like homeless. The inside was even worse, you couldn’t turn off, the hot water, it just kept spinning. The smell was disgusting inside. The sheets and spread had cigarette holes in them. It was dirty, I complained but to no avail. Please never stay here it was truly the worst experience of our lives. And being a small town you had no other choices. I was afraid of bugs but thankfully we got non. I kept everything sealed and closed. The lights were burned out so you couldn’t see. There was a fight on the floor above us and luggage came falling down from the top floor at 2:00am in the morning. The management Beverly Evan’s refused to help us, her thought was you stayed the night. I thought Wyndham did better than this. If they don’t control their name in these flea bag hotels who will. Seriously thinking about getting rid of my Wyndham reward all together. If you are going through Chiefland, Florida keep driving. Save your money, this is hotel hell
