Overnight Stay The hotel was obviously a renovation, as attention to detail was not the rule throughout the finish work. Price point was high, but with minimal competition on the island, it is to be expected. The balcony views were nice though.

Personal Travel to Care for Local Relative Comfort Suites Chincoteague Island Bayfront Resort has become my "go to" sleeping accommodations for the increase visit to the local area to help tend to the needs of a family member. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are inviting and comfortable.

Always come back The customer service at this location is top notch! Been coming back every year due to the hospitality and location. Always greeted with a smile and when calling the front desk with question I never have the feeling I’m a “bother”. Last year my kids were greeted with a basket of candy and the receptionist was so friendly and warm. This year my 6 year old daughter left her stuffed animal behind and we unfortunately live 8 hours away. I called the hotel when we got home thinking it was probably thrown out but Nicole at the front desk was amazing! She was so compassionate and told my daughter she would be shipping it to us ASAP and even text us a picture of the stuffed animal saying he would be coming home soon! I have been to many hotels and have numerous times been treated like crap and disrespected. This location has my family’s business every year :)

Very Clean This place was very clean, no matter where you were in the building. The staff were very friendly, and they have a decent selection of breakfast foods in the morning which helped please each of my three kids.

Nice hotel and setting A very nice hotel with spacious, modern room. Comfortable beds and good bathroom. The front desk personnel were friendly & helpful. Well located near principal road into town; yet quiet with an attractive view from room. Doubt that you can do better in Chincoteague.
