OUSTANDING SURPRISING EXPERIENCING So, full disclosure- I am an unapologetic hotel aficionado/snob. I love travel, and I love luxury hotels. I work hard and I like to travel well, and if you have seen any of my other reviews, that's reflected in my many hotel reviews at some of the finest properties in the world. And for that reason, I have just never considered staying a Comfort Suite. I have top status with Marriott (Lifetime Platinum), Hilton, and Hyatt, so when I'm not doing top of the line properties I will at least stay at one of their premium or luxury brands. Fast forward to July 2024- first time trip to this little island off the coast of Virginia and the choice of hotels is really limited. But I decided, based on their outstanding reviews, to give it a go and I have to say I was really pleasantly surprised. I prob wont say anything here that hasnt already been said, but the highlights in no specific order: GREAT LOCATION! Walking distance to al the main street restaurants and shops, and right ON the waterfont, with most rooms that I am aware of having some or full water views. Our was a deluxe suite and it was dead-center bay view and it was just beautiful looking out over the water from the balcony. IMMACULATELY CLEAN! Everywhere. The entrance, the hallways, the elevators, the rooms, the bathrooms, the corners of the bathrooms, everywhere you can see. PREFECTLY MAINTAINED! I did not see anything broken, worn out, sagging, or otherwise in need of attention. AWESOME BED AND PILLOWS! SO COMFORTABLE! Enough said AMAZING STAFF! Smiles, and welcomes, and friendly hellos coming and going. I really could not find any fault at all with the property. Sure it doesn't have marble sinks and showers, or full services restaurants, or room turndown service, but for a getaway to a little island that is in itself charming and simple, this is really a great place to stay and I loved every minute of it. I do have to mention the pricing- this is NOT a budget hotel. We paid around $400/night, and to be fair, that's about $100 MORE than you would pay at the Times Square Marriott Marquis right now. But they deliver a wonderful stay regardless, and if you want the nicest accommodation in Chincoteague, this is definitely the place, and unless something really unexpected happens, you will likely enjoy it just as much as we did! (in fact, we loved the hotel and the island so much we are going back again this weekend- just a week after this first visit!)

Nice hotel This hotel was beautifully located on the bay, very clean. The rooms were sized well for 4 and ALL staff extremely friendly and welcoming. The Indoor pool perfect for the kids and well kept. The breakfast was nice. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful and well maintained We were very happy with our weekend stay here. We arrived from the beach after 6 pm and enjoyed the freshly baked welcome cookies at check in. They also have a 24 hour coffee bar. We went to the immaculate pool and hot tub every day after the beach, and the gym. The latter us small but adequate. Breakfast was great. Different hit food each morning, plus a nice variety of pastries, cereal, yogurt, etc plus a waffle bar.

Perfect Stay! Beautiful hotel, exceptionally friendly staff, wonderful location and extremely clean and well updated. Also, I realize that the area is pet restricted, but it adds to the experience to not have to brush pet hair off of public areas before sitting or to be sitting in a hot tub and have a strangers dog lick you in the ear (I love my pets, but yuck). The breakfast on the outer deck was wonderful and the seating area outside was a perfect spot to watch the sunset.

Terrific property with terrific staff This hotel was fantastic. The room was spacious and clean, and had a private balcony where we could watch the incredible sunset. The staff here is phenomenal; everyone was very friendly and happy to help with anything. The breakfast was great, with a big selection of high quality foods. The tables were being cleaned as soon as they were vacated, and it is obvious that this property is very well maintained. There is a beautiful deck outside of the breakfast room, fresh cookies in the evening, beautiful landscaping....it was just very relaxing to be here, and we would absolutely stay here again.
