Brian the magic man __ When we got here, I saw the room and I was like, umm there is something odd in the room, like it felt like we are outside even though the AC was on. I went to the front desk and they sent Brian to check it out, and the minute he walked into the room, he felt it too, the humidity was so thick. He helped us to get a new room (which was a way better one :)) and took care of us in the most friendly and nice way. All of the staff here in this hotel are super nice and professional and made me feel really good, and helped us with everything. Highly recommended

Breakfast was fantastic and Miss Stephanie did a great job keeping things stocked and clean!! Miss Stephanie was super sweet, kind and friendly while we were getting our breakfast!! She had everything well stocked and was constantly monitoring the area. She kept things clean and tidy. We look forward to breakfast to Moore and hope she is there.

Will never stay at a Holiday Inn again. Worse experience with a hotel. No customer service skills, No communication skills and No professionalism displayed not by one employee, not by two employees, but three! These individuals weren't just unprofessional to me but to everyone that was trying to check in while I was at the front desk. My experience began with them telling me I didn't have a reservation, to calling me a liar about past phone calls from them. After I displayed my paper reservation, they then couldn't meet my request for a handicap room from a reservation I made 4 months prior. Because of this experience I have withdrawn from my rewards account with them and will never choose one of their hotels again. My family, including my children were left, at night, searching for another hotel. This was during a baseball tournament that suggested this hotel as a host hotel. There were many other families left standing at the front desk having issues with this staff as well. To make matters worse, rooms weren't ready. James who was assisting me first either was new or clueless, I wasn't able to distinguish. Brandlie just handled everything by laughing at customers, and Brianna was of zero help. Like I said, worst experience EVER and because of it I'll seek other places to stay. Good luck with this location.

Exceptional staff makes the stay! We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites Clearwater/US 19 N at 2580 Gulf to Bay Blvd. Each and every member of the staff we interacted with during our stay was truly phenomenal. Nigel, James and Jay at the front desk are so very professional and customer service oriented, as well as just all around friendly with enthusiasm to help and smiles all around to greet you. Brian and James keep the Property in such great working order, as well as are quick to help in any way they can. Lulu in housekeeping does an exceptional job of quickly responding to any needs... as well as keeps the rooms spotless and clean. Franny who services the morning breakfast, is so very attentive to the buffet, the customers and the dining area. She makes sure everybody has everything they need, the buffet is always well stocked and the dining area so very clean. Such a wonderful team. We travel all around, sometimes up to a couple months of hotel room stays a year. It's so refreshing; it's so rare to see such a fantastic team in this day and age. You just don't see service like this enough. Thank you for such a pleasant stay to the entire team. Each and everyone of you are a star and a credit to your company.

Grateful for Excellent Service Inside the Great Heat Wave of 2024, I brought my family to stay at the Holiday Inn Express on 2580 Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard in Clearwater, Florida. We had reserved a suite to accommodate all of us. Our room is beautiful, freshly painted, with new fixtures and appointments, and well-cleaned. We did find, however, that our air conditioning unit in one of the suite’s rooms was blowing luke-warm-temperature air. (The unit in the other room was working great.) We reported the problem to the front desk, and within 5 minutes, the building engineer was at our door to investigate. James B. came into our room, took some time to investigate the issue, and then confirmed that the unit was, in fact, broken. My family and I left to go find some dinner, and when we returned, James B. was finishing the installation of a brand-new-air-conditioning unit in place of the dysfunctional one. This was all before we even began our evening in Clearwater! We are thoroughly enjoying our fantastically cooled room now, and we could not be more grateful to James B for going the extra mile for us. James is our hero!
