I won’t go back We were put in a room with dirty sheets. I called the attendant to come change the sheets and before she could get there the toilet overflowed. She was going to Put us in a different room so before I moved my stuff I went to the second room and those sheets were dirty too. I asked for a refund and left without staying.

Extremely poor accounting practices. Room was very comfortable, hotel is clean and attractive. I was billed before checking in. I checked out a day early before checkout time. I was given a receipt that showed a refund. I never received the refund. I have contacted the hotel, and Choice Hotels on numerous occasions with no resolution of the issue. Still have not received a refund or a corrected receipt to show the full amount to reconcile my credit card statement.

Very Disappointing I REALLY wanted to like the Liberty Hotel, however it just wasn't what the pictures showed. Still nice, but not worth the price we paid for the hotel. Check-in took 30+ minutes, we had to have our keys reprogramed daily (no one checked for ID when we did this, just asked our room number, which is kinda scary), outside doors didn't unlock, or were closed off with caution tape. We reserved a king suite with a tub, couch, and chair. We got a king bed, with a walk in shower and desk, that was sooo small. Very disappointing! Also, our room wasn't cleaned the entire 4 day/3 night stay. We even sat our trash outside the door on the 3rd night, and it was still there the next morning, along with another rooms trash down the hall. I know it had to have been seen by the manager who I passed walking in the hallway that night.

Charming hotel!! So glad I found this gem! Was leaving WACO and hotels there so overpriced! This beautiful hotel in the middle of my drive from WACO to Fort Worth. Charming and historic, reminds me of Charleston SC. Clean, quiet, comfortable bed and pillows. Great alternative to chain hotels.

Nice hotel , with quirks Stayed three nights in town for the eclipse. Well I read the reviews before we stayed here and seemed really good. I would give it a high 3 maybe a 3.8 . I expect these older renovated hotels to have their quirks but this one has a few too many. I'll list them. Staff is all new , very nice, but does not know anything, like how to work the TV etc. The window blind pulleys are inoperable. The windows are bolted shut to save energy I guess. Tread mill is broken. Pool is closed. Room seems to be haunted, but I like that so no points lost just thought I would mention it, friendly ghost turned off all our lights for 15 minutes but then turned them back on. No the hotel did not lose power just half our room. Handicap door broken. Rooms nice and clean. Lobby is nice. Internet was good.
