Surprisingly quiet, clean, can’t beat the location Such a relief to go straight from the airport to this hotel in just a few minutes on the free Sky Train, especially after a long, late-night flight. Lobby was clean, inviting, and had a nice scent. Stayed on the first floor; surprisingly quiet for a hotel next to an airport. Staff were polite and helpful. Room was clean, bed a tiny bit firm for me but not bad. Breakfast was adequate. I would definitely go back if I ever need to stay near the Atlanta airport again.

Average place in a convenient place The room itself was fine and it was very convenient to be so close to the airport. However, the breakfast spread was very limited. Also, the room only had one towel. I asked for more and they never arrived. The elevators were also very slow and inconsistent. I wouldn’t pay more than $130/40 for this hotel. Anything more is just wrong!

Beware This hotel is closed. We made a reservations for the night of April 28, 2021 the week before our stay. Got to the hotel and there was sign on the door saying the hotel was closed and our reservation was transferred to the Renaissance next door. We were able to get a refund but it was frustrating trying to find another hotel in the area on short notice that had secure parking for the nights we would be gone.

Warning: Hotel Closed I deplaned from an international flight with my family of 5 & was comforted by the ease of accessing this hotel from ATL. I pulled up my reservation to check in online and the reservation disappeared. Apparently, Marriott had canceled the reservation because the hotel is closed. I didn't receive any notice. There is also no notice on the website. I was left without a hotel room. Customer service was a nightmare experience and after about an hour, I was able to pay full price for another Marriott property. No apologies for the major inconvenience and lack of communication.

CLOSED HOTEL Very disappointed in my most recent experience with Marriott. Not sure that I would ever be able to recommend this chain to anyone after this. On October 10 I booked a room online at a Springhill Suites hotel in Atlanta. When I arrived at the hotel that same evening, it was CLOSED. I first thought maybe there was a power outage since I had driven to the hotel's location in the midst of a tornado. I soon realized the hotel was closed. I immediately called Marriott to be told at the end ofnthe 35 minute call that the hotel would be closed until January 2021. I was also assured that I would NOT be charged for the room. The rep also asked me were there any papers or notes on the door of the hotel. I replied yes but as I stated earlier...it was storming (tornado) and it was dark so I was not comfortable exiting my vehicle. She told me that could have been a note to redirect me to another hotel. So needless to say my plans for that evening were doomed.  Fast forward to Oct. 17, I realized my card had been charged for the room at the CLOSED hotel. I gave Marriott another call and immediately asked to speak with a manager. After I explained the nature of my call and the rep opened a case, I was then transferred to the Supervisor, Charli who explained she was as high up the ladder as I would get and there nothing she could do because I had used my associate discount to book the room. Charli said (as nonchalantly as could put it) she had two options for me to attempt to get a refund on the charge: 1) Wait until the hotel opened back up in January and request a refund from their General Manager or 2) call my bank and dispute it with them. By far the absolute worst experience I've ever had with any hotel.
