Comfort Suites Columbia at Harbison has horrible management. Visting my brother that came from out of town 06/15. Brought his nephews and nieces to see him Got to his room and received a call from the front desk that he had to go to the front desk. When he got there, she was very rude, told him to stand behind a line and told him that she was going to call the cops because he had too many people visiting him. Because he was trespassing. She also cancelled his room key and wouldn't let him get his belongings. When he checked in the day before, this same manager called the cops on another individual.

Very Dirty We have stayed here several times, but I am assuming they are under new ownership. We arrived at 11 pm after driving for 9 hours with 2 kiddos. Location is great, but the room was filthy. Food all over the walls, doors, and furniture. Hair all in the bath tub. Something wet on the night stand. I’m assuming someone had a party because there was silly string all over the room and carpet. The sheets on the bed were torn up. It looked like someone just made the bed with the dirty sheets and didn’t clean it. Online it stated that they still had rooms available but when we went to ask about changing to a clean room, we were told they didn’t have anything available and offered us a free snack from their pantry area or an hour later check out. We ended up leaving and found another hotel to stay at. This happened on 05/23/2024.

Horrible management This seedy place deserves a zero after arriving for my son's graduation from ny I noticed a bus of teenagers also staying here. I elevator and tons of wait time. I checked in unpacked and toilet wasn't flushing called down had to wait Called again and they sent someone to fix it the manager lady with the accent the guy vacuuming that did not speak English and the front desk receptionist all came fixed a small lever inside said if it acts up they will replace pump while we go to dinner. Second time broke again I call again The manager at the desk gave us another room, and said to hurry reyurning first key we moved in After unpacking again we realized the safe was not working. called the desk to explain the safe did not work and we needed to lock up valuables and leave for dinner reservations…. She told us to use a credit card to program it but it still it did not work. She sent the handyman up and even with a language barrier, I tried to explain to him that we tried everything to get the safe to work with out success and he too could not get it to work. I went down while sister was in room to say Noone came yet and we had to leave. Little did I know the guy was up there with my sister. Soon the manager came to our room I realized she was pouring chemicals into our bathroom sink I questioned what she was doing and she told me she was fixing the sink that I spoke to her on the phone about….. I told her it was the SAFE not the sink that wasn’t working! At this point she starting yelling at me, telling me that she already accommodated me twice by changing our room and by fixing our sink and if I did not like it I had 10 minutes to decide if I wanted to stay with the accommodations as is or I can get a full refund and check out I tried to explain to her that she had misunderstood me on the phone We needed the room but we still needed a working safe for our valuables At that point she called me a difficult guest and had decided that I had to leave her property or she would call the law on us I tried to tell her that we were paying guests that needed a room for a graduation in a city that was filled with family and friends in town for the occasion She demanded I leave right away and was so rude and obnoxious, not giving us a chance to finish explaining anything Call the law? Was I a bandit? Difficult? Was I not entitled to a working toilet and a place to lock up our valuables and graduation gifts? We immediately found another room at a nicer hotel in the heart of the city for about the same rate, ( Holiday Inn Express which was sooo nicely appointed and close to Main Street and the campus stadium) we quickly repacked our belongings AGAIN and checked out! While we were back at the desk She was apologizing to us We told her why are you apologizing… You kicked us out! Still waiting for my refund to show on my bank statement! Not for nothing…. I never give bad reviews I just need to put this out there so no one makes the same mistake by booking at this seedy poorly run motel. Not enough staff to accommodate all the guests

Stay away! Never again Hotel is not clean, fd is not friendly at all, New manager needs to find another profession the front desk Manager who seems to not be there anymore was the only reason why me and my family even came to that hotel please bring her back, she knew her job well, friendly and very professional
