Spacious room bit of drive to Hocking Hills We stayed here for 2 nights last weekend. We were given an end Room that was quite large it felt very clean in the hallway, the room smelled clean even the stairway smelled clean! I love that the pool area was open you just had to reserve it so my 11 year ,old was thrilled that we had two one hour sessions during our 3 day stay where we had the pool all to ourselves. Felt clean and mom could relax.. On the weekend there was only 15 maybe 20 cars at the most there it was very quiet. The to go breakfast that you take back to your Room and heated up wasn't too bad. I noticed a few stains on the carpet that had been very well cleaned and didn't notice till the last day when we are looking around to make sure we had everything. I'm not sure if we be back in this area, it is nice and close 10 min drive to Easton, 45 min to Hocking Hills... but I'll definitely check out a comfort Inn and suites again.

front desk clerk Natasha sucks! Natasha is incompetent!! charges corporate guests $150 for incidentals when you checking then tryst to tell you rooms aren't ready til 4pm which is totally bs! plenty days I have checked in earlier than 4pm. this girl Natasha needs to go!!! in past when she did agree to check me earlier than 4pm she charged me $30 early checking fee which again doesn't apply to corporate guests! I will never stay here again until Natasha fired!! connor on the other hand is very professional and handled the situation well

Not adaptable Tried to charge us $165 for the night twice upon checkin. We had the charge already posted and it entailed a long conversation. Upon checkout the next morning at 5:30, the front desk clerk could not give 2 yoghurts to go - breakfast isn’t available until 6. Then he could not check us put as he was too busy setting up breakfast. Yup. Never coming back here. Really unfriendly, completely unadaptable to customers asking for the most minimal of service. To-go breakfasts need to be available, so does friendliness and accuracy.

Overpriced for the limited amenities The room (though very outdated and dismal) was spacious and provided a microwave and fridge. Other than that, this hotel should be passed by. First of all, we only had two towels in our room that was registered for 4 people. No washcloths or handtowels either. So we had to ask for those. I've never been to a Choice hotel where the towels and washcloths were not clean & plentiful. Second, the grab and go breakfast was subpar. Most other hotels have resumed their breakfast buffets but not this one. Third, the hot tub was out of order. And lastly, the pool was supposedly open but we could not use it because you had to have a reservation. I'm not sure how one would know that. After we questioned this, it was then that they placed a sign on the front desk stating the pool was by reservation only. Even at that, no one was using the pool. So even though the pool had no guests in it...apparently someone reserved it but did not show up so that kept others from using the pool. We saw several disappointed families. I guess I can see limiting the number in the pool at one time...but a reservation system that does not make adjustments for no shows (and is not made clear at check in) is an unfair system. This hotel still charges their full rate even without bringing back their full services. I would say pass this one up. Columbus has so many other "choices" even in the Choice brand.

Acceptable Accomodations I wanted to like this place. It was close to being great, but there were too many irritations/cleanliness issues. The room is huge and nicely appointed, but the couch and curtains had stains. The staff were all nice and helpful, the location worked well, and the wi-fi connection was strong. However, our room had ants, the tv remote only turned the tv on and off - there was no way to turn down the volume or change channels (another room was complaining about this as I checked out so it's not an isolated issue), the pool water was very dirty. The breakfast was fine, there are computers available, the hot tub is out (but the website and a sign at check in say this). It wasn't awful, but I would try another hotel next time.
