Red Roof Inn & Suites Columbus - West Broad

A great stay I was nervous staying here based on recent reviews however I realized if my life was ever in danger or if I felt uncomfortable staying somewhere I can just leave as there are many more options in the area. I’ll start off with the clean rooms. Nothing was out of place and although the bed was a bit uncomfortable for my personal choice, I fully understand each hotel have different beds. Secondly the staff was great, friendly, nice, and made me feel at ease when I brought up certain review claims. Lastly the hotel overall was placed in front of a road but the noise from traffic especially at night when there’s no traffic on the road was not an issue for me at all. I noticed some work was being doing at the time of my stay and I spoke to the manager about that. Turns out they are upgrading their camera system which is great to hear, it makes me feel ultra safe when hotels have such items in place. I will be back here. Thank you Red Roof team.

UNSAFE!! Horrible!! RUN!!!! This is a very unsafe hotel. It has people living in it full time with loud children. They cook horrible smelling food in the rooms that travels to your room. There is obviously drug use, drug dealers and hookers. The hotel in and out smells like marijuana. It is unclean. The room had stuff on the walls and the floors looked as if they were not cleaned in a long time. Mold in the bath and shower area. People coming and going with different partners or men! The breakfast was horrific. The elevator was not working. The noise from the freeway and road outside was enough to keep you up the entire night. People blowing their horn and or loud mufflers. You could here every conversation in the adjoining rooms, both above, below and next store. It is NOISY and horrible if you want to sleep! The area is very depressed and unsafe. Sheriffs in the grocery store nearby. Signs everywhere that they are not responsible for theft. We did not get any rest and left as early as we could. We pushed furniture to block the doors that is how unsafe we felt. We had checked in from a trip to the local casino and driving to another hotel was not an option. We were forced to stay and it was beyond unsafe and unclean! Horrible experience. This was our first Red Roof Inn stay and our LAST! This location is not on the casino recommendation list and for good reason! DO NOT STAY at this location, if you have cash on you from gambling, you indeed will feel unsafe. Drug use, dealers and hookers evident! RUN!! and DO NOT STAY HERE!! unless of course you are looking for that environment!

Great stay and awesome staff! Had a great stay with the family. The rooms were clean and at a reasonable price so can’t complain. The staff was very helpful and recommended things to do and restaurants nearby. The hotel was located near the casino so that was a plus. Will return next time I visit Columbus.

Turned around and left The hotel is so so so dirty. It smells as soon as you walk in. They try to cover the smoking smell with some sort of air freshener. When we finally got our room, which took a couple of tries because of some mix-ups, it was filthy. Dirty Q-tips in the room, stains on the comforters, hair and stains in the shower. We turned right around and left. I thought this hotel was going to be better because of the reviews but I would never stay there. Also does not seem to be in a safe area. Had to stop at a grocery store 0.1 miles away and there was a sheriff in the store just watching customers, like he often has to stop by there.

When pool is closed it should be posted in online We came here expecting to have a pool for the kids to swim in when we was done at the zoo. The first night said pool was closed for testing water now the second day and she’s telling me they are painting it and don’t know when it will be open. It would be nice for them to put this on their website. Some people come here ready to enjoy the pool with their kids. Very disappointed.
