Amazing staff, amazing room Awesome staff, awesome room. We arrived early and it was hotter than blazes outside. We were tired from driving for hours so we chanced seeing if we could check-in early. Sure enough they had a suite available and they upgraded us to that suite at no charge. It was perfect with a living room for our afternoon of resting. Great breakfast in the morning, the staff…absolutely awesome staff.

The hotel that does everything right This hotel does everything right. I just wrote a negative review on this weekends hotel stay, and I thought I should have written a good review for this hotel that we stayed at last weekend. The rooms are clean, (the towels are a little thin), the staff is friendly and hard working. Breakfast comes with the stay and they do a good job of making sure everything stays full. There were two boys baseball teams staying that weekend. To keep the buffet full with all those boys is quite the feat. The pool is great. They still have a hot tub. Many hotels are shutting their hot tubs down. It is just a wonderful place to stay. We have stayed her dozens of times over the years.

Beautiful New Hotel with Reasonably Priced Rooms for the Iowa City Area For less than $100 a night, we booked a two day stay at this new Country Inn and Suites in Coralville. It is easily accessible from the highway. There is ample free off-street parking. The hotel has a nice outdoor seating area. There were free cookies and ice water available in the lobby. The grounds and facility were clean. There are multiple floors but also an elevator is available. The front desk staff were very friendly. They offer a hot breakfast that including eggs, sausage links, hash browns, biscuits and other continental offerings. They even had a Pepsi soda dispenser on during the breakfast hours. We had a large double queen room with a desk and chair. The room had a mini fridge but no freezer section. We also had an ironing board and iron, hairdryer, microwave and coffee maker. We had a large bathroom with tub and shower all self-contained. Internet was password protected but free and reliable. We were next door to a Goodwill and an Aldis with a short drive to Walmart. Culver's and Taco Bell were within walking distance, and it was a short drive to Steak & Shake and Wendys. They did provide housekeeping services. There was green space, dog stations and walkable sidewalks. The hotel has a pool and hot tub. There was a free accessible ice machine. It was a nice new facility with reasonably priced room for a stay in the Iowa City area.

Just so so. We loved the rooms, spacious and clean. Beds were not the most comforable, more on the firmer side. We did stay doing a snow storm and had no direct TV for the whole day. We tried to get a remote for the actual TV to stream our phones but one wasn't available. We also tried to explain he may need to clean the dish off but he was young and maybe had no idea of that. The second night of stay, the hot tub was blocked off due to maintenance. It worked.the night before, just needed more water added. I feel like for a Saturday night they could have made sure it was taken care of for the guests use. It was negative degree weather out. Our shampoo bottle was half used but everything else was supplied. No game room so nothing much to do. It's more of a place to just sleep versus a place to hang out. Probably would opt not to stay again. There is better places in the area for the price.

Great overall. This is a distinctive budget gem. It is very clean, quiet, and offers the basics of comfortable lodging. Management appears to be caring and active. The room TV was a generous-sized screen and worked well. Heat/air worked well without problems. Very nice hot tub, welcome in December. Pet-friendly for those interested in that ($35 fee I believe). Close to I-80 with Culver’s and Aldi steps away. Breakfast was slightly disappointing, but this was an excellent choice overall.
