Red Roof Inn Pittsburgh North - Cranberry Township

Don't stay here!!! My husband and I stayed here for 5 days. There was wire cot outside our door with caution tape on it. There were beer bottles caps on the sidewalk the entire he we were there. The air conditioner didn't work very well and was noisy as could possibly be. The bathroom door had 2 round smashed in spots where you could see some had bashed another person's head into the door. The shower curtain was pretty much falling off the rod because it was so taddered and torn and cobwebs in the corners of the bathroom. We had to go get our own towels each day from the laundry and turn in our dirty ones. I requested to have my sheets changed on our 3rd day around noon and I was told that they would try to get to it that day, they didn't change the sheets until the 4th day at 3pm and when the gentleman came to change the sheets he didn't bother to knock he just walked right in, I was laying in bed with nothing on from the waist down. I had to ask him to step out of the room 3 times so I could get dressed before he entered to clean. Also, there's no microwave or fridge for a standard room, that's an extra $17. If could give less than one star I would.

Blood and urine stains on mattress pad - STAY AWAY DO NOT STAY IN THIS DISGUSTING RATS NEST. BED HAS BLOOD AND URINE STAINS IN THE MATTRESS PAD. THEY PUT A THIN SHEET OVER THE PISS STAINS AND BLOOD AND GLARE AT YOU THREATENINGLY IF YOU COMPLAIN. MY WIFE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AFTER THIS HORRIBLE PLACE. WE HAD TO LEAVE AND HAD NO PLACE TO GO OR SLEEP AFTER DRIVING 10 HOURS . MALE EMPLOYEE GLARING, LEERING, THREATENING TONE, DRESSED AND ACTED UNPROFESSIONALLY- SCARED THE HECK OUT OF US WE HAD TO BOLT EVEN WITH NO PLACE TO GO LATE AR NIGHT IN AN UNFAMILIAR AREA. FEMALE EMPLOYEE OFFERED TO CHANGE THE SHEET ONLY. DONT SAY TOU WERE NOT WARNED. ALSO DO NOT RELY ON HOTWIRE BECAUSE THEY DO NOT BACK YOU AS A CUSTOMER AND SENT US TO THIS DANGEROUS DISGUSTING PLACE

Glad we stayed, clean and affordable. I just wanted to write this review because the other reviews almost kept us from staying there. It was fine! It was my husband, myself, and my dog. There was a sign that said $50 cash deposit was required. Maybe because I signed up with Redi Rewards when I booked, they didn't ask me to pay. The highway just sounded like highway and was easy to ignore. Room was clean. Price was decent. No smells (big deal for me). Bed was comfortable. Just needed a night to stay. Was worried a lot of traffic was going to set my dog off, and maybe because a Thursday night, not so much, but we didn't hear much noise outside our room at all. We were on the second floor.

SHAME ON YOU I visited this place at the end of April. The management team is different from the previous one I met two years ago, and they are extremely rude. After I left, their staff accused me of stealing their blanket and charged me 100$. I have been calling the Red Roof for a week waiting for their explanations but got none. I will suggest people reading this review never book this place, a hotel that calls their guests THIEF

A Very Bad Experience I checked in & was told all rooms on the main level were taken so was given a room on the 2nd. floor. However, there seemed to be at least 7 rooms on the main level that were unoccupied. It was 42ª that night but I couldn't find how to heat the room. The unit had a sticker that stated COOL ONLY. I couldn't see any instructions on how to turn on the heat. In Florida, my room unit had both heat & A/C but not Cranberry! This hotel needs a total renovation. I've stayed at other Red Roof Inns & was satisfied with my accommodation, but not here. I do not recommend this hotel at all.
