It was a delightful experience that set the tone for a happy occasion, our son’s wedding. My husband and I spent 5 days here for our son’s wedding to a local girl. Coming from AL all of our arrangements were made long distance, so not knowing exactly how it would be, we were pleasantly surprised to be greeted by such a friendly, caring staff. Sara and her staff provided a wonderful setting and meal for the Rehearsal Dinner we hosted. While Silvino, Annie and Heidi took good care of us at mealtimes. With a generous, caring spirit they all served us well and treated us like family. We couldn’t have found a better place to call “home” during all the events of the wedding. Such friendly, caring people! It was all so nice!

Great Employees Who Make For An Enjoyable Stay A special shout out to Alison at the front desk - the best customer service I ever remember at a hotel! I also would like to acknowledge Clarissa and Marisol in the dining room for good service and a friendly smile. They made our dining experience very pleasant.

Excellent Service for Our Family's Wedding Rehearsal Dinner "We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Chicago NW-Crystal Lake. The hotel was absolutely fine. More importantly, we hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner for 52 people. 38 of them ordered filet mignon. Our biggest concern was having all 38 filets be served medium-rare. Somehow the Magic Chef made it happen! The facility on the lower level was wonderful, the food was excellent and the staff was fantastic. Linda Schuemann, our event manager, understood how important this event was to our family and she was fabulous. I'd definitely recommend this venue for an event."

Great service! Allison at the front desk has been incredibly friendly! She was also able to get us in a room a little early since our plans changed. And Salvino is always wonderful in the restaurant/bar! He has such a fun demeanor and is so entertaining. Fabulous service!

Very nice hotel and employees! Excellent service by Allison at the front desk. Silvino in the restaurant is always there with a ready smile and a laugh - he's great at taking care of his customers! Love that they provide both soft and firm pillows to choose from. Only negative - there are no sanitary wipes in the fitness center.
