FINALLY A NICE PERSONAL WHIRLPOOL TUB HOTEL IN DALLAS!! So this review is mostly around finding a hotel that has a nice whirlpool tub in Dallas that actually fits two people and doesn't have 'overly friendly owners' making you uncomfortable. Spent a few years trying to find one and I think we finally did. Now onto the review!! 1. The hotel is in need of renovation and the management has acknowledged this and stated it has been delayed due to COVID. That being said the hotel was well kept and the ammenities all fully useable under the circumstances. We had booked two King Suite rooms on the 3rd floor and these rooms were clean, well kept but of course looking a little worn. 2. The whirlpool tub was missing the covers for the air vents on the outside so we had to lay some of the packaged bars of soap on top to quiet the noise. But given the fact we've been unable to find a good whirlpool tub room in Dallas to date this was NOT a problem for us whatsoever. The soap did the job. The tub filled quickly, worked like a charm, temperature was great and was thoroughly enjoyable. 3. The room door has a rather large gap at the base where you could clearly see daylight through it. This meant noise from the hallway could be heard inside the room and vice versa. However as it was a suite and the bedroom/bathroom was inside the inner room we were able to close the adjoining doors without an issue. 4. The breakfast was adequate but as the hotel was short staffed they ran out of cups and syrup pretty quickly and the front desk attendant had to monitor the breakfast areas as well as tend to the front desk. I felt for her as she was clearly being pulled in multiple directions during that time. Overall the stay was really nice, relaxing and given the age and circumstances at the hotel (renovation and staffing) we felt we were treated really well and had no real issues. If/when you renovate please keep the king suites the same (just updated) as we'll be back for sure. Thank you

Oh MY GOODNESS My Goodness-where to start. Positives, quick checkin no problem. Now, let’s talk shop. After checking in we asked for additional pillows, were told IF they had any left, literally handed us 2 pillows without cases that had strings hanging from them (use your imagination how they looked.). We went to room, had mold on ceiling in bathroom, and water dripping into light socket from said ceiling. Mold smell was horrendous. When approaching desk to report H20 and mold, another renter quickly approached and said another persons items were in her room!! The back door to the hotel was broken into and would not close which made it accessible to the homeless under the bridge to come and go. While not the best decisions we made to stay the night, another person or persons tried to get into our room. Just be aware of what you’re renting for the night. NOT SAFE!

would definitely not recommend this Room is a suite, and far from updated. I will never stay @ a Comfort suites again! V I stayed for 5 nights at this hotel. When I checked in front desk act like she don't care and when I went to room Tv didn't work so I ask them can someone come fix it. She said we don't have maintenance at the property so I asked can we get a different room she said come get the key and smells like Someone has smoke in the room and sign says the hotel is smoke free. Which is lie and didn't get Housekeeping service for entire stay and when we ask for towel Front desk want me to go pick it up. At day of check out I requested for late check out due to my business meeting but front desk wouldn't Able to do anything so my wife has leave an wait in lobby for 4 our with all our stuff. This or ridiculous. I will not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. Room is a suite, and far from updated. I will never stay @ a Comfort suites again! Very sketchy area, and they have no security

Not Comfort Suites quality Not the Comfort Suites quality we are used to. Hotel felt worn and dirty. Lobby floors were gross with trash and stains all 3 days we were there. One night the smell of pot in the lobby was so bad I’m assuming from a guest checking in. Area is a little sketchy. Pan handlers just down the street on corners. Room felt humid and sticky even though the air was working. Mold in the bathroom.

Older hotel that needs some upgrades but decent. Had a pretty good 3 night stay this week with a few minor bumps. The front desk staff was always courteous and accommodating with whatever we needed. Upon arrival after booking they let me see the suite that my family who accompanies me often see the room prior to paying. However they didn't charge me for the room until checkout. I thought the charges had already posted but did not until the 4th day we checked out after 3 nights. Had to use another card due to the fact a billing charge came through unannounced or unexpected from an invoice I had agreed upon a certain date so I had to use another credit card. The front desk began calling at 7am about running the card and when they ran too many times the bank locked the card until I phoned then after Breakfast. The front desk manager was kind but we were trying to get a little more sleep until heading back east on interstate 20 for our next business stop of 3 days. Suite was spacious as king bed my wife and I slept on and my young son slept on the hideaway sofa bed. Some of the carpeting and decor in the suite needed to be replaced or updated. The pool is indoors but the water was extremely cold. Just a little too cold for our taste so we only stayed approximately 20 minutes. The market pantry parallel to the front desk is stocked with snacks, drinks and microwave meals for purchase and they have a nice variety. During the breakfast however the hostess handling that would often start putting items away at 830 although breakfast was announced that it was over each morning at 9am. This needs to be another aspect that needs to be improved of service to patrons and guests. Some improvement could be made but we would consider staying again!
