Staff, Rooms and Spaces amazing The staff here was 10 out of 10 - amazing! Rooms and spaces were clean, functional, and spacious. The restaurant and service level were amazing. However, the only thing not giving this 5 out of 5 was the Wifi/Internet issues with our large group workshop.

Bitten by Bed bugs and Scabies itch mites at the Hilton Dallas/Park Cities WORST hotel experience I've had in my life and that includes Third World countries. I was in a Junior Suite, Room 1027, and not only did the toilet leak the WHOLE TIME I was there, but I even told them what the problem was and they still didn't get it fixed. I spent my whole stay with bath towels all over the bathroom floor to sop up the leaking water. But the REAL PROBLEM came with the bed bug bites and scabies "burrowing" into my skin from having sat on the skanky sofa in my nightgown. I am now under a dermatologist's care because of the bed bugs and scabies , and am on 5 prescription meds to try and tame the itching down, but I was advised this could go on for a couple of months or even longer. I have been unable to work this past week as I am super itchy all the time, even with the Rx cream. My husband is unable to sleep in our bed because scabies are contagious. And everything I wear, as well as all the sheets and towels, has to be washed in Extra Hot water and dried in High Heat to try to kill the infestation. Truly, I am miserable, no joke. The person I spoke with at the hotel advised me that I would get one night's credit for the "inconvenience", and in fairness, I did get the credit. But that does not even begin to cover how miserable I am. Grrrr. DON'T STAY HERE!!!!

Physically nice but disappointing The rooms are clean and up to date. They have QR codes for menus around the hotel that are outdated both in offerings and price. I had to call down for a robe 4 times before we got one - twice no one ever answered at the front desk. Room cleaning happens very late in the day. They had a conference happening and crammed all of the event registration tables, food buffet, etc in the small lobby. The pool is nice with a good little waterfall but very small, 3 feet deep the entire way across, and there is no wifi in the pool area. On the roof but there are walls, so no view. The pool area you can order food but they fail to mention or list anywhere that you can only do so after 4pm. I heard the front desk staff talking about how they only will give you water if you ask for it because that is what management said to do, even if you are owed water for your status. Overall very disappointing for a Hilton.

Solid Hilton experience What you would expect from a Hilton! Good experience, location is convenient to HP/ Inwood and we will stay here again. The room was clean, shower could have had better pressure but fine, and I liked the gym. The gym had precor ellipticals, a peloton bike (bring your clip in shoes), treads, free weights, medicine balls etc. Wish they had a self parking option. I had to wait 15m for my car on Sunday morning when lots of people were departing. (No knock on the valet team, they were hustling.)

Valet situation is intolerable ! Let me start with this: if you have a rental car or are driving a car of your own, you should NOT stay here. Valet Parking is required, and this is the WORST valet arrangement we had ever seen. I felt sorry for the employees. There's just one lane, so you can't drive on through once you get your car. You have to wait as each vehicle is unloaded or packed up. Think: families unloading bag after bag with toddlers in tow. Or people departing, taking their time loading bags into the trunk, chatting, getting settled in the car, checking their phones, with zero regard that four cars are trapped behind them. It was a very frustrating component of this hotel. Other than that, hotel is fine. Location is good. Beds and pillows are great. "Real" shower doors that close and actually contain the water (as opposed to the new trend of half-doors where water goes all over the bathroom floor). In-room coffee service was surprisingly tasty. My cousin ordered room service and said the food was cold and they forgot to bring utensils. Overall, a decent stay. But that valet parking is the reason we won't return. Unfortunate. If they removed the decorative fencing and plants by the sidewalk, they might be able to create a pass-through lane and solve the problem.
