Hospitality is here I’ve stayed at the Maron Hotel numerous times. This is a family owned hotel that has a comfortable feel to it. The employees are great and very friendly. The hospitality that Mary Elizabeth provides is better than anything I’ve ever experienced. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the hospitality and look forward to my next stay.

Stay somewhere else Upon arrival everything went smoothly until I got to my room. Older and a bit dingy. Was there for 6 nights and no hot water in the shower. Complained three times and got the run around. One of the front desk people was in the hallway being very loud at 2am laughing and chatting with someone right outside the door. The elevator had a weird smell all week. The bed was so uncomfortable and the heat/air didn’t change no matter what temperature you set it on. It’s on a major road and noisy so you know the windows are old. The building and parking is sketchy at best. I requested a receipt at the end of my stay and was told because I didn’t book with them directly they couldn’t give me a receipt for what they charged me because the system wasn’t set up to do it! So you charge me over $700 and can’t provide a receipt??!!!!???!!!! I will not be staying there again.

NO Frills Hotel Expected the Worst Hoped for Best it was ..Not Good! When you walk into the lobby of this hotel you think this is so nice, until you get to your room! The hotel is very dated! The air conditioner in our room wasnt working had to call the front desk to come 3 times and ofcourse they couldnt fix it and didnt have another room to switch us to, so on a hot thunderstorming night we had to sleep with the window open! Hotel is on a main road so with sirens, people outside hotel talking , cars going by, etc, we didnt get a good night sleeps at all. So the hotel was "kind" enough to take a mere 20$ off my bill..REALLY??? The breakfast is a JOKE they have a small table in the lobby (with no place to eat,) with wrapped bagels, and coffee in carafes, plus donuts and other pastries also wrapped up, they had nice chex mix treats out that were STALE! Luckily there is a Stop and Shop next door so I was able to purchase a yogurt. This hotel was only a one night for us, stay thank goodness and I would not return! They should be embarrased at the breakfast they serve, I heard people saying, "really? This is their breakfast?" and "this is a joke"....luckily also there is a Donut place across the street as well. Stay here if you have to other hotels in Danbury much nicer and breakfast is much better....

Comfortable hotel with amenities nearby This is a well-kept and comfortable hotel. A special shout-out to Mary Elizabeth, the very welcoming front desk manager. The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable and sufficently hard. The front desk is often not staffed when the receptionist is doing other tasks; a number is posted at the desk if one needs help. The hotel fronts onto a busy road. For a quieter room, try the ones at the rear or with atrium-facing windows. The room AC was quite noisy, and never shut off even when set to Auto. There was a desk in the room, but the chair was low and one has to use pillows to get to an ergonomic working height. The grab-and-go breakfast was OK, especially since apples and oranges were offered in addition to plastic-wrapped Danish pastries. There's a Stop & Shop right next door which makes shopping for supplies (e.g., a decent breakfast) easy. There are several restaurants in the area.

All guests aren't created equal Booked this room for two nights, but the second day the hotel told us we had to move rooms because another guest wanted that room. Staff was unorganized and not professional. Went to different hotel.
