FILTHY, OLD PLACE In spite of some truly awful reviews on TripAdvisor, I took a chance on this Wyndham member property. Wyndham I have a feeling, simply takes these owners’ money and doesn’t give a fig about bad actors using the Wyndham association. Last summer on my way back west I almost stayed here, but didn’t after being told this property was under renovation. Sadly it’s one of very, very few motel style overnight places in Davenport. Since I travel with two dogs and assorted pieces of luggage, dog food and a picnic bag, it is much easier to unload directly from my car to the room. So I am here at this run down, dirty motel. There was no desk chair, the curtains are falling down, the window screen is torn and the room smelled like cigarettes even ‘tho this is supposedly a smoke free property. I was given the option to move to the room next door which was pretty much the same. There are temporary workers actually living here which I have learned is not a good sign for upkeep of the property. A small issue compared to the others is that the WiFi is useless, very in and out if you can even get signed on. Turns out there are actually some nicer rooms, so maybe they give the filthy ones to the pet owners! On the plus side, the bathroom tile and sink look new and the air conditioner/ heater works well and provides sufficient white noise to block out outside noises. The walls are pretty thin. Don’t stay here unless you really check out the room first and have a backup plan. I wrote this review several years ago and it never got published for some reason. Maybe they spruced things up, but I doubt it. Sent from my iPhone

Horrible place to stay We have traveled all over the US and several countries. This place was horrible. Carpet was dirty, desk chair was broke, no wash rags, dirty windows. The smell as you entered the place was awful. Steps to the upper level were filthy. I will never ever stay here again. Someone needs to just tear the place down and start over.

Stale smoke gags! The smoke smell in the room was too awful to stay, so they moved us to another room and charged us $20 more, but my husband does not drive after dark, so we stayed. The carpet was filthy and the sheets were dingy-looking and the pillows were lumpy. Worst place we've ever stayed in. I don't understand why Days Inn allows this unit to sully its name.

Scam! Crooked manager Entire place is a horror show. Rooms are filthy Because of price I have stayed here 3-4 times and was always forced to pay a 50 dollar deposit which was NEVER returned. When I went to complain to the front desk I asked for my history of stays since I wasn’t refunded my deposit before. The attendant informed me that I had stayed there in a date that I wasn’t even in the state! I tried to get more info including many unsuccessful attempts with the joke of a manager. Finally he informed me that a separate person with the exact same name was the one who stayed there that questioned night. When I asked for proof ie photo of ID reservation copy etc. He refused and then acted like I was acting too aggressive which I wasn’t, he kicked me out and informed me that if I came on the property again he would call the police. That particular stay he refused to refund my deposit as well. They obviously charged a room under my name (an inside job) and bullied me because I called them on it. I’m considering dealing legal action. The manager is crooked and his henchmen workers there are in it as well. Beware!

Just needs to be Updated No problems...rooms ok...just needs to be update...but these are cheap in price....so you get what you pay for...will we stay here again...yes because of the weather no way to get home from work...no swimming pool here...nice expensive restaurant next door...on down a dollar general and a McDonald's and a Denny's so if you did not bring your own FOOD to Cook to put in their fridgerations then these are supper close....We love that refrigerator can stockpile it with drinks if going to be there for a few days... Also, have free internet....As i say...this is a OLD MOTEL - The whole place needs a upgrade!
