Disappointing Experience with Reception Service At check-in, I requested a quiet and pleasant room. Unfortunately, none of the three options offered met my expectations: they were either noisy or had windows facing the arches of the entrance building, providing no view at all. When I asked about alternative rooms, the staff responded rudely, saying, "This is no resort. People don't come here for the view." I found this reply both unprofessional and embarrassing. Since my reservation was fully prepaid, I had no choice but to stay; otherwise, I would have left immediately. I understand that this hotel caters to travelers passing through main roads. However, that should not justify dismissive treatment at the reception. Every guest deserves to be treated with respect and professionalism, regardless of the hotel’s location or purpose.

Lots of broken items in room Black mold in the bathroom above shower head, torn curtains, broken tile in bathroom , hair dryer broken.

Terrible Experience Do not stay at this location. You will regret it. The room was filthy and the establishment was worse. This was a total waste of money for a severely overpriced room.

To many dogs for my taste Right off the I80 expressway, close to all Davis, CA has to offer. Clean spacios rooms, good bed at a reasonable rate. Courtney was great at the reception desk. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, but has some variety and will get you going in the morning. Heads up, dog friendly, and people walking their dogs at all hours, specially morning and night. I will not stay here again because I am not a dog person, but is you dont mind, it's a good choice.

Reservation made despite errors, no confirmation I placed a reservation on AAA's website, leading to an error, and of course no confirmation being sent. I then placed another reservation on LaQuinta's website which worked. Upon arrival, I was informed that I had two reservations in the system, neither of which were cancelable. Staff seemed powerless to do much. A call to AAA led to an advisor asking me to work with the hotel staff, but the staff claimed that they could do nothing. Emails to the manager (provided by the hotel staff) go unanswered. I am now attempting to get the extra charge reversed.
