Great place to stay…one of the best We live in Florida and occasionally want to go to the beach. We have been going to Daytona for several years now and the past 2 times have stayed at the Bahama House. We get there well before the 4 o’clock check in so we can spend the day at the beach. Upon arriving at 11:00, we were greeted by a front desk person who was very friendly. After providing the standard check in info, she gave us a card key so we could get in and out of the pool/beach area. She said she would notify us when the room was ready. About 15 minutes later our room was ready! This does not happen all the time…we got lucky. It was nice that it was ready early. We decided not to go to our room until 4:00, after they picked up the chairs we rented on the beach. Our hotel room was a king suite with an ocean view. It was fantastic! We had a wonderful view of the ocean, a view of the city and also a view of the inlet. It was perfect! I chose this suite because it had a larger kitchen than just the regular kitchenette in the other rooms. The kitchen is stocked with a coffee maker, cups, glasses, toaster, microwave, full size fridge with freezer, silverware and possibly some pans….I didn’t look for pans as I didn’t need them. The king suite is large, with a separate bedroom which also had a great view of the ocean. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. There is also a continental breakfast (which we did not have). They also have underground parking, which is helpful to keep your car cooler and the ocean salt off it. The beach and pool area were really nice as well. If I could find one negative, it is the shower water pressure is VERY low. It’s difficult to even get wet. But….I would not let that detour you from staying here. All of the positives far outweigh the water pressure!

Great family-owned resort on Daytona Beach. Great resort to stay. Look for specials on their website. Had a over-large OF room on 10th floor with a balcony. Full kitchen, comfortable beds, great water pressure. Nice pool and hot tub. Secured ramps down to the beach. Food truck 200 feet down the beach. Hotel style breakfast and happy hour drinks. Basement parking available out of sun. 2 elevators. Great, friendly staff. To nit-pik, pool towels run a little short late in the afternoon. Will definitely stay my next DB trip.

Couldn’t have been better! Our return visit was another success! Everything was top notch! The room was amazing and very clean. The beds were very comfortable! The staff was friendly and always seemed to be cleaning or working on something. We felt very comfortable and like we were at home! Can’t wait to go back for a third time! Thank you Bahama House for a great vacation!

Very rude customer service The receptionist at the front desk was extremely rude and dismissive. The woman that was giving out drinks at happy hour was also very rude. The grounds themselves were adequate. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again based on the attitude of the people that were working there that we encountered.

Loved the location! I think we had a handicap accessible room and my only complaint was the shower curtain didn’t meet the edge of the shower so every time we used it, we flooded the bathroom. Otherwise, everything here was great! Our room was clean and comfortable. We loved having a balcony to sit and look at the ocean. Breakfast was adequate for us to fill up in the morning leaving more time to swim and play on the beach. The staff we encountered were friendly and seemed to be working hard at keeping the hotel nice!
