Not Great Pros - #1 The location has a lovely stray cat living in its parking lot. He was our welcome ambassador and was very friendly! We would recommend feeding him or getting him to a shelter to find a good home. We couldn't catch him. #2 One Marriott staff member tried to help with my room situation. She tried her best but clearly didn't have the tools or the training to help me. Cons - Everything else. The hotel is not maintained, smells terribly of smoke, and staff (outside of the one mentioned above) was not all that helpful. Our stay had several issues and no apology was offered. I would not recommend based on my opinion and experience.

DO NOT BOTHER TO STAY HERE - WORST HOTEL WEVE STAYED AT IN YEARS This hotel was by far the WORST Marriott we have ever seen or experienced. I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a clean, well maintenance hotel or if you have any expectation of customer service whatsoever. The exterior of the property is not in bad shape, but as you enter the hallway area you start to notice the paint that desperately needs to be redone and the profound odor of smoke that is overwhelming. The walls are paper thin and it seems like this is neighborhood “party hotel”. Many people wondering around the parking lot late at night, and just an UNSAFE and GROSS feeling hotel that I would not recommend for families or children. Upon entering our room, it was evident the furniture and carpet could all use a deep clean and/or replacement (stains in the carpet, damaged upholstery, chips in wood), but it wasn’t until we attempted to shower the next morning that the problems really came to a head. After being unable to turn the shower on in the morning, we contacted the front desk who had to come to our room and use a butter knife to turn our shower on. After attempting to turn it off and having a similar issue, the butter knife had to be implemented yet again in order to get the shower off. 2/4 members of our party weren’t able to shower, which is ridiculous given the price paid for this room where a bed and WORKING shower should be a minimum requirement. We were told maintenance doesn’t work on the weekends, which is absurd, but that someone would come and check in on the shower before we returned that evening. Low and behold, no one checked or fixed the shower nor left us a message for a resolution. When we called the front desk again later that night they offered to put us in a new room (not a suite as we had originally paid for). We ended up being given a second room in order to be able to shower which required us to walk down the hall from our actual room. We are extraordinarily disappointed no one was able to resolve this issue during our stay and that we weren’t even offered a discount or so much as an apology for this extreme inconvenience. Finally, the disrepair of BOTH of these rooms was abhorrent. It was apparent neither room had been maintained (do they have a maintenance person on staff AT ALL??) because things like the towel rack were literally falling off of the wall. Overall, this hotel was a dingy, lackluster, disappointment that I would never return to. This property irrevocably damaged our perspective of the Marriott brand and we cannot stress enough how disappointing this hotel was. My advice, spend your money elsewhere! The most pleasant part of our sad was the feral cat that greeted us outside our room. The property and staff were an embarrassment to Marriott and we will not be back.

If I could give a review of less than 1, I would. This place is a joke. What a joke! When my daughter and I checked in Friday afternoon when we were traveling for the Presidents' Day Challenge 2021 Volleyball tournament, I had to sign an agreement that we would not hold a party there. Well, it wasn't long before we were in our room when it became clear that the entire hotel is party central. The entire weekend, we saw and heard evidence of countless parties going on next to us, above us, all around us. We could not find a parking spot Saturday night when we got back from the tournament because there were cars everywhere, including some with people sitting in them, blaring music. We saw and heard men hanging out of windows yelling at everyone who walked by. It was absolutely crazy. My 15 year old daughter was scared out of her wits. I parked in the one spot near our building, which was a handicap spot, and went in to tell the woman at the front desk why we parked there, and she was very adamant that she did not care and that we needed to park behind the furthest building where there were spots and walk back to our building. She treated me like I was the most selfish person in the world for parking in a handicap spot even though I told her it was only temporary given the circumstances and we would move as soon as a spot near us opened up. I did not sleep at all both nights we were there as all night long there was yelling and crazy sounds next to us, above us, and outside. I was never more relieved to check out of a hotel than I was when we left there. Why even go through the farce of making guests sign a "no party" agreement when the entire hotel seems to exist purely for allowing parties?

Why does Marriott allow this to still be their property. If I could give the property a negative star review I would. The property is older and run down to begin with. Carpets are dirty to the point that my grandsons feet were black after just an hour walking around the room. Especially during COVID times you would think cleanliness would be priority! I realize that thinking they would adhere to cleanliness is a long shot though. This is a Non Smoking hotel. Signs are posted at entries and on every room door handle. Apparently, this does not include the smoking of weed! We were here for a week. There were at least four different “. Groups”, yes groups, as these were suites! Every time one left we would get a reprieve from the horrid smell. Then a few hours later in would come another with the same or stronger smell. We had our grandson, a toddler, with us. On day 1 we advised the management of the strong order and asked about the no smoking policy. The response, “Yes, it’s a problem we always have. There is no way for us to enforce it. We never know exactly which room it is coming from.” Oh Okay? No, seriously!!! I asked about getting some air freshener at least to spray in the hall and in front of the door it is coming from. He never brought it, but I found a bottle hanging on the rail in the stairwell. We used that! They were not doing daily room cleaning? We had to go get fresh towels and toilet paper each day. We took out our own trash! The icing on the cake! If the weed smell wasn’t it! The coffee maker in the room did not work. We asked for 4 days to get.a replacement. It never happened! This is the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel in my life! I cannot believe Marriott allows this to be common practice at one of their properties! Why did we stay and not go somewhere else? The first day we thought this is just a oddity, it will be better tomorrow. The second reason is because we really needed a two bedroom suite and this is the only facility with that in a 20 miles radius. We suffered through hoping it would get better. It did not! Do jot make the same mistake we did, unless of course you would like to join in with the smoking parties!
