Great space & value Our room was like a studio apartment & very comfortable, especially since we were there almost a week. Clean & stylish. Coffee maker & lots more in the kitchen. Nice outdoor area with pool. Two things to know - no hot breakfast, only continental during this prolonged Covid period. They did have fresh fruit. Secondly, seems 1/2 the people are living here on an on-going basis. A bit strange, but were not scary people so we were ok with it. The Whitehall Nursing Home is in front of the property so would be great for out of towners visiting loved ones in rehab or nursing care. We would stay there again.

Strange deposit policy Above average Residence Inn layout, with a dozen separate buildings each with 8 suites. This means no elevators to get your stuff to the second floor, but that didn't bother us as much as an elderly woman we met. Room was long and narrow, with a functioning little kitchen, a nice sitting area with a worktable, and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and had adequate shower pressure. The air conditioning was efficient and not terribly noisy. The hotel is away from other commercial areas and is very quiet. The continental breakfast was pitiful with no hot food, minimal choices, and you had to request coffee at the front desk. There is a strange deposit policy where we were required to put a $250 damage deposit on the room. I have never seen this in a major hotel chain establishment before. There were warnings against parties also, or too many people in the room. I guess they must have gotten burned in the past.

Great staff The best part of my stay was the accommodating and friendly staff. They let me check in very, very early and check out very, very late, and were overall just eager to be helpful. The king studios are larger and better laid out than those in other Residence Inns. Although it’s a studio, you can’t see the kitchen or bathroom from the bed, and the living room feels like an actual living room. The kitchen is up to date. Getting water that wasn’t too hot or too cold in the shower was a little tricky, but overall I was very pleased and will likely stay here again.

Stay at Residence Inn by Marriott I had a long term stay in this location 4 months to be precise.The hygiene and cleanliness was five star and the rooms were serviced 3 times a week especially during Covid-19 .The staff Mr Lou and the associates were ever willing to assist and make the stay a very memorable and comfortable like home.The property being close to the Metra,Super Market and restaurants is an advantage. Excellent This hotel was close to where I was working so a great location. Has cluster of houses with short walk to the Reception area that has the breakfast room and washing machines. For summer visits there is an outdoor pool and basketball court. Each individual building has 4 apartments. 2 up and two down. We were allocated the ground floor at the back of the parking lot away from the road which supposedly is quite although we never saw the road that busy. Very pleasant interior decor. The room is very pleasant and spacious. Queen size bed, sofa, TV, even open fire, Bathroom, fully equipped kitchen which includes; oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and all the equipment that one needs. Cutlery, crockery, kitchen roll, bottle opener, peeler. Dining table and seperate desk. Everything spotlessly clean. Cleaning staff came every day. Check in was quick and smooth. We stayed 4 nights. Had absolutely no complaints or enquiries so did not see the staff till we left. Both receptionists were very pleasant. Breakfast was included and is very satisfactory if slightly monotonous. Perhaps my only observation but certainly not a complaint is that the buildings are built from wood so one can hear alot of movement from the upstairs occupants. Personally the creeks from the floorboards did not bother me but I can see if someone is sensitive, then it would be better to take an upstairs room. With 2 of the days in extremely cold temperatures, I liked the idea of getting out of the car and rolling into the warm room. Heat and not water were perfect. An excellent place to stay. Would return and highly recommended.
