gr8 house in Has =d a wonderful stay. Within easy walking distance to all the attractions. Could not wish for better. Must be visiting here again. Staff are always there to help you on your demand. They even guide you how you can get a good deal on attractions.

no longer there Sadly this plac.We passed it on a coach trip last week and no signs of it being rebuilt.Such a shame as they were very nice friendly staff theree is no longer there after a disasterous fire last year.

Terrible Stay DO NOT stay here. My Mum and I stayed here for one night as we were visiting Chester Zoo on a package deal. Nice reception area and helpful receptionist. Got into our room and it just went down hill from there. The walls were filthy and in need of a good paint, the carpet was totally stained and the bathroom was utterly disgusting. Mould and mildew everywhere, clearly very old. I then laid on the bed and it was extremely uncomfortable. As if things couldn't get worse, we heard a dog bark, there was a dog in the room next to us! We weren't going to go out, however we couldn't stay in the room any longer. We spoke to the Receptionist and she changed us to a different room. Still the same dated, dirty room but no dog this time. We were overlooking the pool, and could hear the road which is very loud and busy from 6am onwards. The only reason I have given this a 2 instead of a 1 is the breakfast. We both enjoyed that. I think this is one of the worst hotels I have stayed in, and I wish I had read reviews on it before we stayed here. Will certainly NOT return.

Service could improve We stayed here as part of our anniversary trip and the room to be honest was nice and fairly clean only place that seemed a little unkept was the bathroom. Never heard much noise from adjoining rooms even though they was a lot of kids on our floor all was very quiet once in the room. Reception upon arrival was lacking in that special service you expect when visiting a hotel in a place you may not be familiar with. She was very distracted and getting things mixed up and wrong, we gave her the benefit of the doubt but like I said service could do with a bit of training on. Overall I good convenient hotel for the area.

Not great Visited here for one night only (thankfully). Beds were uncomfortable and heating was broken in the room so it was very hot during the night. Breakfast took ages and were things unavailable like no sausages
