Quality Inn & Suites

Best hotel in Delaware. Friendly and updated. We travel to Delaware multiple times a year to visit family. The Bayxxxx used to be our go to until we had a terrible customer service experience with them. Had not been back to Quality Inn for 10+ years. It was a very pleasant surprise to not only have friendly customer service both at check in/out but to have an updated hotel and renovated room. Very happy with our experience.

Do not believe anything the front desk tells you I am a very frequent stayer at Choice Hotels. 2 stays away from Diamond status. The one thing that I demand from a hotel is that if I am told something, I will be able to believe it. I had made a reservation for 1 night and decided that I wanted to stay over another night. I went to the front desk and asked if I could get the same rate as last night. The very nice lady at the front desk told me I could and that I should check when I checked out to make sure I had received the same rate and if not, they would be glad to adjust it. At check out a less than nice lady told me that the rate for the second night was $15 more and that they could not adjust the price. I told them what the lady the day before had told me and she said that didn't make any difference that was the company policy. I'm a senior and am traveling the US and have stayed 38 nights at Choice hotels and was planning on using them exclusively for my pilgrimage. However, if that is the way I'm going to be treated, then I am definitely changing my hotel preference. Do not stay at this hotel and if you do, do not believe anything they tell you.

temporary stay I live nearby and needed a room for our family to stay in while our house was being showed (selling). Stayed 3 nights. Angie was very accommodating in finding a room for me at check in. Lynn who works in the evening is the truly the friendliest person in the world! Lynn completely understands a genuine smile and hospitality. Olivea was working morning shift and balancing check-outs and stocking breakfast. The beds were comfortable, the heater actually one of the best heaters i've had in a hotel it didn't make obnoxious noises like many do. the floors looked nice with the luxury vinyl planks. the metal around the bed was a bit annoying from kicking it. Great pool as well. Breakfast items were plentiful and enough. I am a past general manager of hotel and I continue to work in the hospitality field. the staff here was top notch!

Horrible customer service I reserved a suite here six months in advance to attend an event in Delaware. Shortly before the event, I received a reminder from Choice Hotels, but I noticed that the reminder listed a different room type. The hotel changed my room in the reservations system at some point without telling me. When I called, the reservations rep first said the hotel had no suites. I knew that was not true because I had stayed in suites previously., and (as I pointed out to her), I had a confirmed reservation for one. Then she admitted they had suites, but said they had a water leak and couldn’t use them. I checked, and you can reserve a suite for pretty much any night you want except the nights I needed for the event. At no point did she apologize or explain. I cancelled.

Perfectly clean This place is a little out of the way but it worked for me. I got a great night of peaceful sleep. There was a pool & to-go bags in the morning. Each room has a fridge and micro & there is parking for several trucks. The Choice Priviliges site is the way to go. Always offers a couple choices seemingly wherever you’re at Highly recommend hotel & app. Be blessed!
