Nice Accommodation Stayed here based on reviews on trip adviser. The room was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant on site which is meant to be good. We had a few issues with the power outlets and poor internet connection. The staff were quick to acknowledge the issues in the morning and offered a partial refund. Breakfast was included. Would recommend. Swimming pool on site.

A very pleasant and comfortable stay. Warmly greeted by Ethen when we arrived a little early and he allowed us an early check in. Our ground floor room had parking right outside the door. Our Room, 125, was spotless with nice amenities, including a TV, small fridge, microwave and coffee maker plus a comfortable bed and nice thick towels. We had a good meal at the Lazy Lizard, about which I wrote another review. Breakfast the next morning was excellent. They have a lady there to help you and a very good hot buffet and good assortment of bread, pastries and cereals. Excellent value and service from the staff.

Awful We had picked a non-smoking room but when we arrived the room smelled so strong like cigarettes it gave my daughter headaches so we got switched. Our experience with this hotel was awful and front desk was rude. Poor customer service. Wont be staying here again.

Yuck Every direction I look provides another revelation as to how disgusting this motel is. Do they ever clean here? It is not just that there is a layer of crud on the carpet in the room. There ‘s embedded filth on every hard surface. Furniture is stained and scratched. It is clear that no effort is put in to keep this place remotely attractive. Yuck.

Bugs in my bed I woke up at 3:30 am to bugs in my bed biting me on my back. Not bed bugs, 2 different kinds of beetles, a small one and a larger biting one. Obviously I didn’t go back to sleep. When it got light and I went to check out, I was told I couldn’t get a refund since I stayed the whole night and was offered a $10 discount. Seriously? What was I supposed to do? Hit the road, alone, at 3:30 am? The desk clerk said they couldn’t control the bugs beyond performing monthly pest control. BS. They could control them, they choose not to. When I called Choice corporate customer with my complaint, the GM/ owner emailed me and discounted my room 30% due to “bugs in my room”. I had a bite mark on my back for 5 days. When I followed up with corporate that this was unacceptable, they promptly refunded the balance of my stay. Kudos to them! It was never about the money. It was about this hotel not deserving 1 penny of my money. This GM didn’t care that he was compromising Choice loyalty. I’m happy to say the corporate office was committed to retaining my business. I’d spent 22 nights in hotels since mid June, several of which in Choice hotels. Unfortunately going forward, leaving this experience behind while staying in hotels will be challenging. On a positive note, the margarita in the bar was awesome and the staff was very nice.
