AMAZING just AMAZING resort! My boyfriend and I stayed here a couple nights and it was amazing! There was great staff and a fantastic room as well as wonderful food! This was part of our land tour with Holland America, so it was included in our trip and I paid an extra little bit to have a view which I’ll include in pictures. The view from our balcony was taken at 12:30 AM.

Definitely do your research! Stayed on Aug 3rd 2024. We were highly disappointed. Rooms other than in the main lodge are considered an out building. In the room itself, there was mold in the bathroom, the carpet was filthy and also stained, and the person at the front desk was borderline rude to my 80+ year old Dad. There is no parking at the out buildings- you have to take the shuttle. There is also no wifi in the out buildings (even though they gave out a password) and next to no cell service.

OK stay We were here with a Holland America post cruise tour, so I can't assess value for the stay. The rooms were clean and the beds were good. Our daughter and son-in-law had problem the noise from a connecting room and they were moved to a quiet and acceptable room. Our room was supposed to be accessible but the toilet was low without any bars to use for getting up. We called and they said they would bring something. What they brought was a bench to use for taking a shower. We called again and they brought a riser for the toilet which worked great. The bus transport was great for us since my wife uses a rollator walker.

Nice lodge, room needed a lot of upgrading At $400 per night, I expected our room to be better. Two bedroom areas separated by a bathroom would have been ok had there been no other issues. We stayed in building A. It was the closest to the lodge, which was its best quality. A second floor room with only steps to access it was a bit much with large suitcases in tow. Only a fan to cool it in nearly 90 degree heat - no air conditioning. Walls were so thin we could hear our neighbors’ conversations, as well as any anyone walking outside. Unfortunately, that happened often and early as people left their rooms as early as 5 am to catch shuttles to activities. Something, I’m assuming pipes in the walls, banged any time someone used water. Noise and aroma from the restaurant vents flowed through our window as we tried to cool the room. The bathroom was a shower and toilet - the sink was in one of the bedrooms. The shower also had dirt or mold in a seam. My best comparison would be to the cabins I’ve rented in northern Minnesota. Except the price, that is well above those cabins. The food was acceptable, albeit pricy. The employees were friendly and helpful. They got that part right. Shuttle service was pretty good, but took a bit to understand as there are a lot of buses and shuttles running. The lodge was nice. Money seems to be put into common areas, not rooms. There aren’t that many places to stay in Denali, so you take what you can get. But for the money, they can do much better.

No one cared… Call the head of Time and asked for a quiet room since I’m recovering from a serious health issue. We were assigned a room that was on the second floor of third floor building with tons of noise from above us and the hallway. Went to the front desk and complained waited and were assigned another room, supposedly the only one available and this one required that I climb stairs. Since I am respiratory impaired every time we got to the stairs it took me greater than 10 minutes to climb those stairs. In addition, the room that we were assigned was at best shabby. The furniture was certainly 40 years old very worn couch cushions in some spots were thread bare. An overall deeply disappointing experience.
