Very Comfortable Easy I wanted to write a review because I am motivated to be a counterpoint to all the negative ones. We had a great experience at Denali Village Lodge, especially given what a large operation it is. Rooms are small but super clean. Comfortable beds and large fan. The staff are really nice and there are a lot food options. Love the Nahana River running by and the easy access to hiking.

Unsanitary and terrible customer service Just stayed at Denali Park Village, terrible customer service, overpriced foods, unsanitary, rooms were dirty and manager was so rude. Rooms literally 10 ft away from septic tank with awful smell both outside and inside the room should have never been assigned to any human being. Pretty sure we inhaled all the bacteria that septic tank provided. Never staying there again.

Don't stay here The resort claimed our tour company did not request a standard room although our reservation clearly stated so and stuck us in a rustic cabin a quarter mile from the resort main lodge. The room measured 10x20 and most of it was taken up by a king bed and oversized furniture, Had to turn sideways to fit between the foot of the bed and the bathroom wall. Shower was so tiny I barely fit. There was no cell service and the TV only got 4 non network channels. Overall a one star experience

Overpriced dated hotel Overpriced hotel with overpriced restaurants. Location is perfect, but thats the only pro of this hotel. Rooms are bare minimum, old, beds were in poor condition. Rooms are noisy. Would NOT stay here again. If you have no car you’re stuck at the hotel in contrary of other hotels there is no shuttle.

Coming through on Land tour. Stayed here on our Cruise/Land Tour. It was very busy as a result of several tour buses coming through so the dining area was PACKED. There was a long wait and after having traveled for several hours, this was less than ideal, especially when traveling with children. Not sure how this could be improved and is not necessarily a reflection of the hotel itself, simply a bad timing situation (the same with morning meals before everyone goes out on their scheduled tours). That being said, the food was good and the rooms were fairly comfortable, very cabin-like/rustic. The grounds were nice to walk around. The reason for my rating, aside from the dining, was the noise, making for a bad sleep. Throughout the night we were awoken by people talking outside. Perhaps people arriving late or employees going back to their own rooms after work. There is very little sound proofing (we were on the ground floor) Overall a 3.5 star for our particular stay but I think that the off-season when there is less people, this would be a very lovely place to stay. Had it not been for the issues mentioned above, we would have very much enjoyed our stay.
