Red Roof Inn Dillon, SC

Horrible This was the most miserable hotel I have ever stayed in. Leaky fridge in room and I had to fight roaches who were trying to eat my food. Could not unpack my suitcase for fear of taking roaches home with me. Needs to be exterminated for roaches,

Heads Up! The only reason I give this place one star is because the young lady at the front desk was friendly. Other than that I cannot recommend this place and actually did not feel safe staying here. There were various groups that hung out right outside the door entrances or in the parking lot in and off throughout the night. This went on until after 3:30 am. There was shouting and swearing. Cars drove in and then out of the parking lot. It was such an unsafe feeling. I waited until daylight to leave my room. Throughout the night loud cars raced down the street. The room itself was old and the toilet was not even clean. basically you get what you pay for and paying anything was this place was too much!!!

Okay if stuck I am comparing this to the Red Roof in Carlisle, Pennsylvania which was outstanding. The breakfast was lacking the wonderful waffles we had in Carlisle. The hair dryer’s electrical was scary. Had trains coming through at night. Location and price was good

Great red roof Single story very nice red roof. No complaints. Nicely remodeled. Everything worked. Would definitely stay here again. Waffle house across the street. Check in and check out were quick. Why does tripsadvisor require 200 characters? What more needs to be said?

Great Location next to many restaurants, Clean, spacious rooms, Attentive & Friendly staff availlable 24 hours Convenient location off I-95, We love finding good, clean & spacious rooms for our family to stay in when we drive from New York to Florida, They have all ground floor rooms with hard flooring so there's no "carpet stench" or bugs and very comfortable beds I might add :) they also have handicap accessible & joining rooms also some interior corridor rooms on the 2nd floor. Rooms have Microwave, Refrigerator, Coffee Machine, Hair Dryer & even iron/ironing board. conveniently located ice & vending machines very friendly & helpful staff that is available 24 hours at the front eager to resolve any issues or answer general questions. more than 10 well known restaurant within walking distance from the hotel, also three 24 hours restaurants & 24 hour gas stations next door property is lit up & feels safe. Although we enjoyed the hotel continental breakfast with hot waffles, Starbucks across the street was perfect for the morning before continuing with our trip. Already decided to stop here on our way back & will be coming in the future Perfect for single night stays, will recommend to others passing by this area.
